Chapter Three

Instead, I rested my arm on the arm rest and watched as she talked to her quirky best friend until the lead actor walked in.

The airline attendant walked by, refilling my drink before she made her way up to the front. I smiled as I took a sip. Maybe things would get better after this trip?

I wouldn’t have to keep taking care of Micheal. Wouldn’t have to work doubles to help him pay off his debts. I could put money into savings, or at least money into a better place closer to work.

Kane would probably let me crash on his couch for a day or two until I found something. He’s a softie and always been willing to help me out in the past. It had been that way since I started working at the bar.

The couple on screen did the stumbling through their meeting as he awkwardly flirted with her. It was painful to watch, I finished my drink before grabbing my bag from the empty seat beside me.

Before heading to his job, I’d grabbed us coffees and a few magazines to pass the time. I pulled out the trashy gossip magazine. Wanting to lose myself in the over the top drama for the flight.

I opened the cover and my heart dropped at the title, ‘Royal Wedding’ splayed across the front of it. A grand picture of a woman in a lavish gown, her dark hair pulled back away from her face as she smiled up at her groom. His reddish blonde hair cropped short as he lifted his hand to the surrounding crowd.

Sighing, I flipped past it, hoping for something, anything else to read. ‘He cheated’ the next article read, showing a shot of a dark haired actor holding hands with a blonde woman in a skimpy silver dress as they snuck out of a club.

Damn cheaters, at least this one didn’t make my heart hurt. I could understand his actress girlfriend’s pain.

Men sucked.

And not in a good way.

My drink was filled again as I flipped through the magazine again. My head felt floaty and the pain was muted.

I tossed the magazine into the chair beside me, silently watching the movie. I didn’t need to put in the headphones to know what was coming. Closing my eyes, leaned my head back.

Why couldn’t I find something like in the movies?

The flight didn’t take long at all and before I knew it we were landing. I made my way out of the plan and into the terminal. Letting out a long sigh as I shifted my carry on in my hand and moved out of the airport to flag down a taxi. Once I was in the taxi, I told the driver the address to the hotel and looked out the window. Watching the scenery change as we drove to the hotel. After paying the driver, I checked in and the receptionist handed me my keycard.

I took the elevator up to the floor of my room, trying not to cry as I looked at the beautiful hotel. Everything was trimmed in gold and the halls were lined with an expensive looking red carpet, the walls were covered with pale marble and lights accented everything. It had cost more than I wanted to think about but I was going to make the best of it. Adjusting my bag, I made my way down the hallway, stopping at my room.

Placing my keycard in the door, I pushed it open and stepped into the room. Reaching out, I flipped the light switch on and soft light filled the room.

It was better than I had imagined. Stepping closer to the bed, I took in the rose petals scattered over the white comforter that covered the bed. I picked up one, running the soft petal over my fingers. Turning, I looked at the small table that sat in front of the balcony window. A tray was left there with chocolate-covered strawberries, champagne, and long stem crystal flutes.

Dropping my bags, I stumbled over to the table. Picking up the bottle, the sweets could wait.

Removing the scrap of foil, I moved to the balcony. I twisted the metal cording, the cork came off with a loud pop. I shouldered the door open as I took a long swig from the bottle and looked out over the view.

This was what I’d been waiting for. I’d never seen the ocean before, not outside of movies or television shows.

Now it was real, I could smell the salty tang of the ocean, and even in the darkness the view was breathtaking. The stars and moon reflecting over the dark water. It looked like something out of a fairytale.

This night was supposed to have been magical. I took another long pull from the bottle. The bubbles tickled. Making me scrunch up my nose and close my eyes. It was light and bubbly, kinda fruity. Probably would have tasted better if I were sober. I’d taken a nap on the plane and woken up to a full glass of wine and a wink from the flight attendant.

I wasn’t sure how much I’d drank, but everything felt sparkly. A breeze blew across my face and I opened my eyes. A bath, that’s what I needed.

It would help me relax, I’d been dreaming about soaking in that massive tub since I’d seen the pictures.

I took another long pull from the bottle before moving back inside the suite and making my way to the bathroom. Bumping my hip against the dresser. That was probably going to leave a mark. Like my broken heart, the pain was dulled.

I sat my drink down and tugged my sweater over my head. Letting it drop to the floor before I picked up the champagne bottle and took another swallow, moving into the bathroom and turning on the light.

The bathroom was just like the pictures. All tile and marble with chrome finishings, the fixtures even looked fancy. I’d probably never see something this nice again and I was going to enjoy it.

Chapter Fifty-SixI knew that it would only grow stronger when Dom claimed me. Kane pulled back, laving Dom’s skin with his tongue. “It’s not what I’ll do.” Kane said, his voice gravelly. I knew the dragon was talking to me, not the man. I’d pushed him too far, but I was ready for whatever was coming. “Dom, go claim our mate.” Dom stepped out of Kane’s embrace. He was on the bed behind me before I could blink. His hand swatting my bottom. The sting of it made me moan low in the back of my throat.“You like it when I spank you?”“Yes, Dom.” I moaned when he swatted me again. His fingers tracing over the slowly forming handprint before going to the glittering jewel between my cheeks. His fingers probed against the plug before he swatted me again and again. My fingers dug into the headboard and I bit my lower lip. I wasn’t going to beg him. No matter how much I wanted to. He traced his fingers between my folds. “You’re ready for me to fuck you, aren’t you? For Kane to fuck your ass?”“

Chapter Fifty-FiveNodding, I rested my hands in my lap, still in a daze about what they’d shared with me. “Sarah, you okay?” Kane asked as he walked over to his clothing. Nodding, I pushed myself to stand. I was still in shock at seeing a dragon and a wolf up close. My palm still tingled from touching the two of them. “Yeah, it’s just. You guys,” I dusted the sand off my legs. “You’re a dragon and Dom is a wolf. Hearing you say it is one thing, seeing it. I just, I have no words.”Kane chuckled, pulling his pants on. “How about, ‘Oh Kane, you’re the biggest, most handsome dragon I’ve ever seen’ that works for me.”“Kane, you are a dragon.” I said, walking closer to him. “Have been for a very long time.” I turned to look at Dom, who was buttoning his shirt. “Dom, you’re a wolf. I’m just still-” I trailed off not knowing what to say. He came closer to me, his bare feet sinking into the sand. “I’m pretty, I know.”I nodded. That was putting it lightly. His lips quirked up into a s

Chapter Fifty-FourI knew he was right, but that didn’t make it any easier. He stood, buttoning his shirt up before helping me slip on my sandals. We walked to the door, every step reminding me of the plug in my ass and the egg that sent pulsing vibrations through me. When we got down to the lobby, Derrick was waiting for us. “If you two would like to head to the private beach. Dom is waiting for you.” I nodded my head, thanking him again. I looped my arm through Kane’s, leaning my body against his as we made our way outside. The sun was low on the water and soft flickering lights illuminated our path. I quickened my pace as Dom came into view. His back was to us. It didn’t take away from the way that he looked in his pressed, charcoal gray slacks hugging his ass in all the right places. A soft blue button-up shirt finished his outfit, the material tight across his arms and chest. His hair moved in the breeze and I was reminded again of how handsome he was as he turned to face us.

Chapter Fifty-Three “Fine, he can be greedy.” I pushed up on my toes, pressing my lips to his. The kiss was just as demanding as his tongue moved into my mouth, fucking me like I knew that he would be later. My lower belly tightened and I could feel the arousal pulse through me that Kane was feeling at watching the two of us together. It was still something I wasn’t used to feeling his emotions. It did help me figure things out with him, that he meant everything that he’d told me before.Even his bond with Dom was something that I could feel. Weaker, but it was still there. Dom had already told me that when he claimed me, things would change with the bond. That I would be able to feel him like I did Kane. It made my heart race, knowing that they both meant everything that they told me. That it wasn’t empty promises. That we were building a future together.Even Kane’s actions had shown me how much he meant it. Yesterday, he’d sent me screenshots of a house. One room in particular, he

Chapter Fifty-Two“It’s okay.” Kane said, kissing the top of my head. His arms tightened around me, and I knew that he understood. “Sarah, what you’re feeling. It’s okay.”Looking up at him, I rested my chin on his chest. “What do you mean?”“Dom, he. We-““We’re mates.” Dom said, finishing what Kane was struggling to tell me. Closing my eyes, I crawled off of Kane. Adjusting my shirt as I sat up, I opened my eyes and looked at the two of them. Their beauty was almost painful. Kane with his lithe body, dark hair falling messily against the pillow. Dom with his pale tattooed skin, his red hair tousled about his shoulders as he propped himself up onto his elbows. “We’re all mates.”“So you’re a dragon?” I asked, picking at the hem of my shirt. “He wishes.” Kane said and I could hear the smirk in his voice without looking up. “He’s a wolf.”“I’m happy being a wolf.” Dom said, his hand moving to Kane’s chest. Pinching his nipple, Kane let out a breathy moan that I felt in the pit of my

Chapter Fifty-One“What are you doing here?”“I missed you.” His voice was thick with emotions. He rested his forehead against mine.“I missed you too.” I said, trying to fight down the warm fuzzy feelings that were threatening to pull me under. I kissed him before shifting around to face Kane. “My turn.” Kane smirked, bringing his hand up to my cheek. Pulling me in for a kiss, I placed my hand on his shoulder. Pushing him flat against the bed, crawling on top of him. Our lips never parted as I brought my hand down. Gripping his hard length and working it against my center. Coating him in mine and Dom’s cum. He moaned low in the back of his throat, and I thrust my tongue into his mouth. Taking control of the kiss as I lined him up at my entrance. His hands moved to my hips, and I sank down, taking him inside of me inch by inch. Now that we shared a bond, sex felt more intense, like I could feel him in my soul. How he felt about me, how he felt about what had happened between Dom and
