CHAPTER 11: BED RULES

REAH'S POV 

"I know you do and I genuinely hate you more," He said as he walked out of the room. 

I watched him leave and my heart ached. How could he be so cruel to me? 

He closed the door behind him, leaving me in his room. I stood in a spot for more than an hour and only moved when my legs were starting to ache. I dropped the duvet covering my body and walked toward the bed to sit when I heard a knock on the door. 

I quickly wore my skirt back and tried to cover my exposed chest. "Who is there?" I asked with a trembling voice. 

"It's me, Luna," I heard a female voice and I frowned. 

Luna?

"Come in, please." 

The door opened and a female dressed in a short skirt and a blue shirt walked in. She was tall and pretty, she had a bag in her hand as she walked over. "Alpha asked me to give this to you, Luna." She said as she handed the bag over. 

I collected the bag from her and opened it, surprised to find out it was a new set of clothes and undies that I could wear. 

"He also said I should let you know that he would send someone to pick you up later for shopping." The lady added and I nodded. 

"Thanks a lot." 

The lady bowed and was about to leave when she suddenly stopped and turned to face me again, "I'm Flora, Ma'am and I'm a maid assigned to take care of you." She introduced herself and my eyes twitched. 

"Take care of me?" That word sounded strange but she nodded her head with a smile on her face. Seeing that, I smiled back at her and nodded too. "Okay, Flora. I'm Reah too." I said to her. 

"Okay, Luna Reah. I will be outside the door. You can call on me whenever you need me." She said, bowed and left the room. 

I watched her leave and I let out a deep breath. Standing up from the bed, I brought out the gown from the bag and dropped the bag on the bed. It was a long pink gown, just a glance at it and someone would know it was an expensive dress. 

I removed the torn clothes and decided to put the gown on. I walked over to the mirror to check on myself and I was surprised to see how sexy I looked in it. "How can I change so much just because of a dress?" A smile formed on my lips as I took my beauty in. 

I knew I was beautiful, everyone used to talk about it and I'd won lots of beauty awards when I was in high school but it was the first time I sincerely appreciated my beauty. 

After that, I decided to take a nap as I was feeling tired after everything that had happened today and on touching the bed, I slept off immediately. 

"Hey!" 

I heard a loud voice in my ears and I grunted. I rubbed my face and rolled around in bed. "Hm?" I replied, still with my eyes closed. 

"Are you planning to take the whole bed?" The voice came again and I frowned. 

"It's my..." The word died in my throat and I peeled my eyes open. I quickly sat up in bed and gasped, "What are you doing here?!" I yelled when I saw that it was Alpha Xavier again. 

He stared at me and rolled his eyes "In my room? Are you kidding?" He questioned as he pushed my legs away and lay beside me. 

"Your room? Where is mine then?" I asked, about to stand up but he pulled my hand and dragged me back in bed. 

"You are spending the night here. This is our room," He casually said.

"Wh... What... are you... saying?" I stuttered, finding it hard to comprehend what he said. 

"You heard me right. We are sharing a room from now on." He said again as he closed his eyes. 

I swallowed hard. How was I supposed to sleep in the same bed as him? I knew it already happened once but I wasn't in my right mind then... This was different and difficult too!

"Can I just sleep somewhere else?" I pleaded. 

He opened his eyes and gazed at me with his cold eyes. He sat up in bed and pressed me down, staring at my face "Wait, Are you scared of me?" He questioned. "Or, is there something you want?" He went further as his eyes moved toward my dress and he smiled. 

His smile was beautiful, it was bewitching and it pulled me into a dreamy trance, making it difficult for me to stare away from him for a moment. Before I knew it, Alpha Xavier already moved his hand toward my chest, he ran his finger across my chest and stood up. "There are two attitudes I want you to keep as we will be using the room together from now on." He started as he moved back to his spot. 

"One, You only have to put on a very light nightgown every night without underwear." He smirked, staring into my eyes. "Two, You satisfy me every night before we sleep." He added. 

My face scrunched up in disgust when I heard what he said and I sneered "Why do I have to do that?" I asked, clearly not ready to follow the silly rules. 

He shrugged "You are starting tomorrow night. I will send the maids to get you some sexy nightgowns early tomorrow morning and the day after tomorrow, you will go out to shop for some clothes with my Beta." He explained and moved closer to me, he blew air into my ear and whispered ~ "Unless you don't want to cooperate and you know the consequence." He pulled back and went to bed. 

I clenched my fist angrily but I was helpless.
