MasukChapter 5
The following day, in his office, Mark answered his phone. “Sir, everything is going according to plan,” Julian said on the other end of the line. “Excellent, Julian. Thank you. You’re the best,” Mark replied. A faint smile curved his lips, without the need for exaggerated gestures. Mark hung up and leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes for a moment. “Now, yes. Everything is perfect,” he murmured to himself, satisfied with the direction things were taking. Before lunch, Elena answered an unexpected phone call. On the other end of the line, a detective sounded anxious. “Miss Lancaster, I need to speak with Mr. Darkmoor immediately. I believe I’ve found a man who may be his son.” Elena was left speechless. Impossible. She had heard that the magnate had no descendants. She transferred the call to her boss and returned to work. It was unbelievable how all that intense desire she had felt in the previous days had vanished as soon as she left the company and went home the day before. That sudden, uncontrollable heat no longer existed, but the memory of it still made her blush. The other secretary had retired and left the position. Now, in the office, it was just her and Mr. Darkmoor. --- Mark stood up and adjusted his jacket before heading toward the door. “I’m going to see my lawyer and then stop by a clinic for a paternity test. If you need me, call my cell phone.” Elena listened attentively and nodded. “Of course, sir.” She sighed, trying to return to work after he left. Mark completed all the tasks he needed to that day and, by late afternoon, went home. That evening, he dressed with impeccable elegance to attend his own birthday party at his sister’s mansion. Upon arrival, Valkyrie’s mansion was filled with guests, not only vampires in search of blood, but also visitors seduced by the power and supernatural aura she exuded. Valkyrie appeared immediately, wearing the seductive smile that always defined her. She walked up to him and greeted him warmly. “Vlad… or should I say, brother, it’s good to have you here.” Mark simply smiled and looked around again. There, seduction and desire mingled with power and blood. He, in turn, remained restrained. Mark enjoyed the party until the end. When he was about to leave, Valkyrie reappeared at his side, this time accompanied by a woman with a confident smile, who watched him with desire. “Vlad, a little gift for you before you go,” Valkyrie said. “Valkyrie…” he murmured, surprised and irritated at the same time. “Oh, come on,” she continued with a provocative smile. “She wants it, and you need it. Not feeding properly leaves you like this, aging. Have sex with her… and take her blood.” Mark remained calm. A faint smile curved his lips. “You never miss an opportunity, do you?” At first, Mark tried to manipulate the situation, but Valkyrie’s persistence and boldness were hard to ignore. With a light sigh, he decided to give in, moving with the predatory grace that had always defined him. The woman confidently offered her neck. Vlad leaned in slowly, his dark eyes fixed on her. As his fingers touched her soft skin, he felt her life energy pulsing beneath his touch, and his fangs extended briefly, just enough to mark his power and satisfy the primal need that had burned for so long. With calculated movements, he drank superficially, absorbing the blood while maintaining control over himself and the situation. The woman shuddered, fascinated, as Vlad pulled back, wiping his mouth with a handkerchief his sister handed him. Valkyrie smiled, satisfied, and Vlad remained still for a few seconds, feeling the pleasure and energy the blood restored to him. “You should drink more,” Valkyrie said, crossing her arms and maintaining her provocative gaze. “Sleep with her…” “I don’t want her, Valkyrie,” Vlad replied firmly. “Really?” his sister raised an eyebrow, curious. “And who do you want, then?” He sighed, his eyes drifting for a moment into memories and thoughts only he knew. “I met someone,” he murmured. “And why aren’t you with her?” Valkyrie insisted. “She’s engaged.” “That’s not an obstacle. I can sit on him and drain all his blood, and she’d be free for you. What do you think?” “Thank you, but I’ll do it my way,” he said with a slight corner smile. “I always do.” Valkyrie laughed, admiring her brother’s determination. She knew that no game of seduction or manipulation could bend him once he had made up his mind. He returned home and, without wasting time, went straight to the mirror. The reflection took a few seconds to form, first revealing the image he had earlier that day, then a version of himself rejuvenated by ten years. Smoother skin, impeccable hair, a firm posture… he looked ten years younger, flawless in every detail. “Not yet…” he murmured to himself. Then the reflection disappeared and reappeared, this time showing Vlad’s true image, as everyone knew him. Tall, charming, strong, and seductive, with hair as black as night and slightly pale skin. But it was his eyes that truly captivated—deep, penetrating, capable of seeing into anyone’s soul, of dominating without force, of seducing without touch. Vlad remained before the mirror, absorbing every detail of himself, recalling the power he carried, the immortality that defined him, and the aura that always kept everyone around him on edge. Inside, he was a predator, relentless and fully aware of his dominion over the world around him. “Tomorrow, my dear… tomorrow I will touch you…” his low, deep voice slipped into the wind, reaching Elena even in her dreams. She woke immediately, her body on fire. She looked to the side, finding her fiancé asleep beside her. “Darling… what if we…” she murmured hesitantly, still wrapped in the excitement coursing through her body. He opened his eyes, frowned, and growled impatiently. “For fuck’s sake, Elena… find someone else for that.” He turned his back and went back to sleep, leaving her stunned. “What did you say?” she asked, surprised and frustrated, but received no answer. She took a deep breath, pushing away the thoughts consuming her, and decided to get up. Time to get ready. As soon as she entered the office, she noticed a blood-red rose carefully placed on her desk. She gently touched the petals and smiled; it had been a long time since she’d received a flower. She found a small vase, placed the rose inside it, and left it there so she could admire it all day. Suddenly, the intercom rang, making her jump. With her heart racing, she answered. “Mr. Darkmoor?” “Come to my office.” She felt the same shiver that always appeared whenever he called her.Chapter 6As they walked across the ancient deck, the ship’s wheel glowed with an intense golden hue."Look at that…" Little Thumb whispered.Jack touched the helm. It was solid gold. The place was filled with old chests. One of them, a small one, caught his attention. He crouched down and grabbed the rusty lock."Break it, Captain!" Little Thumb urged anxiously.Using the tip of his dagger, Jack broke the lock. Inside, gold coins gleamed.Jack took a handful, confirming they were real.Further ahead, a single chest lay open and tipped on its side. Then he saw her."Ah, Vanessa… I thought I had lost you."She was unconscious on a bed of gold coins. Jack ran a trembling hand across her face."What is that around her neck?" asked Black Baldy.Jack lifted the object carefully."A pirate medallion. Made of silver.""Get away from her!" a spectral voice echoed across the entire deck. All the men drew their swords, forming a defensive circle."Who’s there?""Leave her alone. She will die. H
Chapter 5Inside the tent, Vanessa leaned over the map, tracing the outline of the island with her finger."We’re going back to the ship," she said suddenly.Jack, who was putting on his shirt, raised an eyebrow."Why?"She smiled and pointed to the other side of the parchment."This island is enormous. The treasure isn’t where we are now. Look, the map clearly indicates the opposite side."Jack picked up the map and frowned when he noticed the drawing of a whirlpool."Then we’ll weigh anchor."Jack left the tent and shouted orders:"Everyone back to the Blue Mermaid! We’re anchoring on the other side of the island!"Rotten Smile stood frozen for a moment like a statue while the crew rushed to obey. Shit, he thought, remembering the laudanum he had hidden.Jack noticed his hesitation."Move!""Yes, Captain."As soon as Jack went back into the tent, Rotten Smile recovered the flask and hid it among his clothes."Hoist the sails! Weigh anchor! Set sail!" Jack bellowed, taking the helm.
Chapter 4She obeyed, but every piece of clothing that fell was torture. The broad chest, the defined abdomen, and finally the pants sliding down, revealing his impressive member. The heat between her legs became almost unbearable."Are you keeping watch, sailor?""Yes, Captain.""Look at me."Vanessa turned. Jack stood completely naked before her."What are you staring at?""Nothing, Captain," she answered nervously, trying to keep her eyes on his.He entered the water and called to her:"Remove your clothes and join me.""What?""What’s the problem? We all need to relax sometimes, sailor.""Thank you, Captain, but I’ll leave it for another time."Jack didn’t insist. Black Baldy emerged from between the trees."Captain, we have trouble."Jack left the water, grabbing the towel."What kind of trouble?""A ship is approaching slowly."The captain grew serious. He glanced at Vanessa for a second, worried. If they discovered she was a woman, she would be in great danger."Come with me, H
Chapter 3Heitor lifted his head sharply, and a charming smile lit up his face."Why so happy?""It’s been a very long time since I’ve been on land, Captain.""I see. Come with me."On deck, excitement was everywhere."The island is huge, Captain!" exclaimed Little Thumb, euphoric.Jack stepped away from the group, and Heitor, who remained in the same spot, watched the captain.Rotten Smile approached from behind and whispered venomously:"You didn’t want me… but you like the captain, don’t you?"Heitor ignored him, and the pirate walked away, frustrated."Hard to port!" Jack ordered."Done, Captain!""Drop anchor!""Done, Captain!"With his arms crossed behind his back, Jack gave the final command:"Search the area."After confirming the island was deserted, part of the crew jumped into the sea and swam ashore; others went by boat. Heitor chose to stay close to the captain."Take a bath," Jack said. "I’ll find you some clothes. They might be loose—you’re very thin—but it’s better tha
Chapter 2Jack took one of his own handkerchiefs and soaked it with alcohol. He knelt in front of the young man and passed the cloth under his nose. The strong smell made him react immediately. The lad woke with a start, coughing and turning his face away. His large, expressive eyes scanned the cabin with confusion and fear."Tell me your name, sailor," Jack ordered. The young man stared at him. For a moment, their gazes locked. Something tightened in Jack’s chest, and it irritated him deeply."Tell me your name, you landlubber!" he growled, more aggressively than he intended. The young man shuddered but answered in a soft, almost feminine voice:"Heitor, sir… Where am I?""Here, I’m the one who asks the questions."Jack leaned against the table again, watching the lad sway, clearly weakened."What’s wrong with you?""Thirst… and hunger, sir."Jack approached and untied the ropes binding his wrists. The skin was raw, red, and torn. When Jack touched the wound with his thumb, Heitor le
The Pirate's TemptationChapter 1South Atlantic, 1720 — somewhere near the Malvinas Islands. The ship Blue Mermaid cut through the gray waters of the Atlantic with fury, driven by a strong gust of wind that signaled a sudden change in the weather. The sails swelled like lungs about to burst. From the top of the crow’s nest, one of the crew lowered his spyglass and shouted, his voice nearly carried away by the wind:"Captain! A vessel adrift to starboard!"Jack Russell took the spyglass from the man’s hands with a firm grip. His cold, calculating eyes swept across the deck."There are people alive," he murmured. Then, raising his voice, he ordered, "Prepare to board. Weapons ready.""Are we going to raid her, sir?" asked the first mate, eager.Jack slowly drew his sword, the metal gleaming under the pale morning light."Absolutely. Bring us alongside. At the first sign of resistance, kill them all. I don’t want any dead heroes in my way."The Blue Mermaid approached like a predator. O
Chapter 9Elena opened her eyes slowly, blinking several times until she adjusted to the brightness.“Where am I?” she murmured, observing the simple room with an integrated bathroom. She got up carefully and, when she sat on the bed, realized she was still wearing the same clothes from the day bef
Chapter 49The wind began to blow hard. The moonlight simply disappeared. Suddenly the room darkened, the lights going out for a few seconds. The flames in the fireplace trembled.A black blur, larger than any natural shadow, crossed the window in a second, with wings that beat once before folding.
Chapter 48They heard howls coming from multiple directions. Adrian stood up, his eyes black as ink. Valkiria grabbed the silver dagger with its sheath that was still resting by the fireplace and strapped it to her thigh, ready for use."How many do you sense?" he asked quietly."At least seven. Ma
Chapter 47"Vlad… you… you killed him."He looked at her seriously."It was either him or us."Elena sighed, frightened."He wasn’t human?""He was," Vlad replied coldly. "But he was sent by wolves. There was no way to trust him."She slowly shook her head, trying to process what had just happened.
