Charles sighed, running a hand through his hair. “It’s nothing. Just some family drama,” he replied dismissively.

Viaan raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. “I need to know if it’s going to affect our plans,” he said firmly.

Charles hesitated for a moment before responding. “It shouldn’t,” he said finally. “But we need to keep an eye on things.” He took a sharp breath, clenching his fists. “And I’m sending Victor to fetch her here anyhow.
