Chapter Thirteen

Michael’s eyes widened as he stared fixatedly at Sharon, who looked back at him with beseeching eyes.

“WHAT!?” He yelled out in a whisper.

“I have reason to believe that someone is harm her at the party this weekend.” Sharon said, looking straight at the elevator doors.

“Why do you think that? Do you have a source?” Michael asked. Michael askes, turning his head away from her.

“After these recent events I’m sure that even you can see that she is in danger, Mr. undercover agent.”

Michael turned back at her with surprise written all over his face. She just smiled as she continued to look at the door.

“H-how did you find out?” There was no use denying it, Michael knew Sharon was a brilliant lady who didn’t say things without certainty.

“Come on, you think I would hire you without knowing everything first?”
