Chapter: 8

Back in David's mansion, he was devastated and so sad. He had never been able to do anything useful with his life since Steven left. Even his marriage was threatened. Everyone in the house could hear his footsteps as he kept pacing back and forth in the huge living room. Even though the living room was big enough it seems small to take David's pacing. He needed more space. He felt hot and sweaty.

What have I done? He asked himself for the millionth time that day. I can't live without him, I shouldn't have said those things to him. I can't possibly hate Steven, I'm losing my mind!

"Fuck!"

Steven had tried calling David but he guessed he was as foolish as Steven was not to have answered his calls. What a fool he's been, thinking he'd ever been happy without Steven, Raya is getting worried. David can't give her the attention she needs, he hasn't even touched her since Steven left.

What is wrong with me? David needed more space, he needs to get out of here, maybe a walk in the garden would do him good. Just as he stood up to leave his legs gave in on him and he fell. David crawled over to the wall and sat, his back against the wall. A few drops of tears slid down his face and he looked up to find Soraya staring down at him. She had seen him fall like that and she wasn't happy. Her eyes said it all. David has no right to make her suffer this way.

"What have I done!" He cried out in pain and Raya ran to kneel before him, his head on her breast and he found himself letting out stream after streams of hot tears.

"I-I am so sorry Raya." He choked out.

"You haven't done anything wrong, my love."

"Yes, I have. I'm hurting you right now and you don't deserve that."

"David, Steven turned his back on you, he wouldn't tell you anything and he just left you like that. Why are you beating yourself up over this?"

"Raya I said something I shouldn't have, I told him I would never forgive him and I haven't returned any of his calls."

"I am well aware of that, but I don't think Steven should have done what he did, no matter the reason. You both overreacted."

"I think you're right Raya," David said and got on his feet, his back was starting to hurt and he needed a better place to sit, as he walked over to his loveseat, he remembered the day Steven had told him he was going on a date with this lady he really liked. David was happy when he heard that so he made sure Steven went on that date. But what shook him the most was when he heard a knock on his door a few minutes after Steven left for his date and when David went to answer the door the sight before him was one he would never forget. There stood Steven trembling all over, he was like a lost puppy that has been bitten by an all-night rain. David was going to laugh at him when he saw the silver lines under Steven's eyes indicating he has been crying. David pulled him into his chest and hugged him close, kissing his silk black hair and robbing a smooth circle on his back.

"What happened Steven?" Typical Steven he wouldn't tell David and so he waited patiently until Steven was ready to talk.

"S-she kk-kissed me, can you believe that?"

David was getting upset but he wouldn't show it so as to not scare the big baby even more.

"She kissed you, so what? You told me you liked the lady."

"Yes David I did, but it was too soon. I never expected her to jump on me like that and again I... felt nothing."

"Steven, Steven, Steven, you would never cease to amaze me. So what now? You're so scared that you got kissed, what is going to happen now?"

"I'll never see her again." Steven had told David that day.

Remembering that day and how Steven had done all in his power to make sure he never crossed paths with that lady ever again and until this day Steven is yet to have a girlfriend. David jumped on his feet and let out a triumphant "yes!!!!"

"That's it!"

"What is that?"

"Now I get it"

"You get what?"

"I know why he left"

"You do?"

"Yes!"

"You're not making any sense."

"Listen, Raya, Steven got scared of something and he couldn't stand it, that's why he left."

"What do you mean? Scared of what?"

"That's exactly what we need to find out."

"How?"

"Raya Steven got his first kiss from a lady he liked so much and it freaked him out, that he never saw her again. So whatever it was that made him react that way to have him running, would have to be in this house and it had either be--"

"You or me." Raya finished for him.

"Yes love, and I might have a hunch as to what it is. I need to start packing and book a flight for tomorrow."

"You should do that, I'd have loved to come with, but I suppose seeing us would be too much for him. Just try to fill me in as it goes."

"Thank you so much, honey." David said and pulled her closer to himself and kissed her deep in the mouth."

"You should go get your big baby."

"I will."

"Would you like to travel light or heavy?" Raya asked pulling away from their kiss.

"Babes, I could go with whatever I have on me, Steven and I share the same sizes."

"Yes, only he is a little bit more muscular than you are."

"He is not! And don't tell me you're loving my friend's body build."

"You said it yourself, he is the ladies' man and quite a charmer too. Wonder why he doesn't have a girlfriend or two worshiping that sexy body of his."

Raya said teasingly as she walked past her husband and made her way to their bedroom.

"OH no, you didn't!!" David shouted as he ran after her, Raya's laughter could be heard all over the place as she ran upstairs and into their bedroom.

"Come back here!!" David shouted, but she wouldn't stop until she has reached her destination, she got into their bedroom threw herself on the bed, and spread out her thighs making room for her husband, David pushed the door open and saw her, a killer smirk on his lips as he neared her.

"I'm coming for you, Raya." He husked, gave her a wink, and tore his shirt apart, buttons flying all over the place.

"I'm all yours for the taking," Raya replied.

"Fuck!" David cried and in one swift motion, he was on her. Their moans and cries were all that could be heard from both lovers as they reunite the bond they shared.

"I'm coming for you big baby, and be rest assured that this time, I would never let you run away from me again."

The last thought on David's mind as he made love to his wife.
