Chapter 24 - Testing Waters

Lupus stared at his mate as she slept peacefully. The past few weeks had been hectic, very hectic.

Laureffaine had gone from bad to worse. She was snapping at anything and everybody in her way.

It was like she changed totally. The first week after they got back to the Pack wasn't that bad. She even apologized to Lupus for the change in behavior but she didn't do the same for Penelope, that would burst her ego.

She went from apologizing to spending all her time training with male wolves and beating them to a pulp.

But now, she wore faded black jeans with black tops and heels, with a heavy but dark and gloomy makeup.
