Ruby is an excellent woman to be honest. Save for the feelings and bond I have with her as the mate bond, I'd plan not to feel anything for her.

She had signed her part of the contract to stay with me for five months and she's already make it my responsibility to take revenge for her.

But seeing her like this makes me sad. She's once an actress and she stopped being one after her marriage.

I'll get her back to fame and make them pay. I'll try my best to find all possible ways to stop her death before five months time.

But before then, I have to make sure she didn't have any grudges against anyone. I'll do everything she want until the next five months even if she die, at least I'll be in peace that she didn't hate me before going.

"Now that I've agreed to stay with you for five months and also take revenge for me, you have to take care of all my needs including clothes" She informed me and sat down on the sofa again.

I dropped the Mp3 and pocketed my hand, "I won't take any advantage of you now that there's contract between us. Don't worry about the necessities, I'll take care of you"

Ruby nodded, "Good, but can you just tell me why I have to be your Luna for five months? I've been wanting to ask, what advantage did you get from that and.." she flipped the pages of the contract, "What did all these mean?"

I glared at her. How do I tell her it's to keep her alive and beside me? No, I can't be thinking of this repeatedly because she ask. Let's just make things strictly on contract.

"Now that we live together, we must be like a normal married couple and share a bedroom. This is to prevent the gossip from spreading around the pack. The elders will definitely want to find out everything to rat us out" I explained the contract without minding her first question. She looked at me with raised eyebrow, "I respect your other freedom. You can make friends and have your own private life. I won't interfere as long as it doesn't harm my reputation or the pack"

Ruby stared at me for a while before snapping back to reality, "Don't worry, I'm a professional person. Since I'm now a Luna I understand that many eyes will be following me, it's just for five months, I can still hold on"

"Alright, then it's a deal."

"Deal."

Why do I feel bad by saying this. Why did I even say she can do what she want? I mean, I can't help myself from not Interfering can I?

Theo growled at me, his voice menacing, 'I wonder how you'll make her comfortable in five months'

'But I don't want to hurt her pride?'

Theo scratched his head, 'I won't also interfere as from now on. So do what you like'

Urgh. That impatient wolf. I might've starved him for a long time maybe that's why he's saying all these.

Ruby yawned and spread her legs on the sofa which shows that she wanted to sleep. I checked the time damn! I have some files to handle.

"I... I'll be back"

She had already laid herself well, "Alright, don't mind me. I'll be comfortable on my own"

I quickly leave the room to arrange somethings.

"Kate, you'll be in charge of the Luna now, take care of her and make sure she's always comfortable" I say to the maid I'd handpicked from amongst my servants.

I can't trust anyone with her. Holy moly known what the elders might try to do.

Kate bowed, "Yes My King"

"I'm going to work now. Go to her and make her familiar with things here. Take her to my room when she's ready"

"Yes my king"

I sighed and watch Kate leave.

" My King" Edison's voice came behind me and I turned.

He had some papers in his arms and a tablet. "We just got a news that the rouges are attacking Redmoon pack soon. Check these" he offered the papers.

I took one of them and read the news "ROUGES WANTS ALPHA REGALEON OF REDMOON PACK DETHRONED FOR REFUSING TO HAVE A LUNA AFTER HIS MATE'S DEATH"

I sighed. "What's thier concern with all these? It's the alpha's choice not to have a Luna after the death of his mate so.... "

"My king?" Edison interruputs, "Everyone believed that a leader can't rule properly without a woman beside him. Also, we just realized that most of the Beta's are unmarried too"

This is serious. How can women be this short for them? "Then what has that got to do with us?"

"They want us to help with the war" Edison bowed and offered me the tablet on which the news from the Lycans was.

I read the message and can't help but smirk, "They want me to help fighting the Rouges that wanted to maintain peace? Why is it that they're not married even?"

I can hear Edison's snicker, "They don't allow Omegas anymore My King. A pack that doesn't allow Omegas are definitely short of women so..."

"Thankfully, I was able to have a mate because of them" I muttered. I'm really lucky. Thanks goodness I honored the invitation from Beta Michael that day or how else would I have met my Luna Ruby?

"My King?" Edison called again.

"Oh yes...."

"What should we do?"

I gave him the tablet and the paper, "Reject the offer. Tell them that we don't want to work with a pack that doesn't allow Omegas!"

"But My King....."

"Since when did you start questioning my orders Edison?" I glared at him and he quickly bowed,

"Alright, I'll deliver the message now"
