Ellen's POV
My phone kept on ringing, it seemed like it was a stupid ring in my head.
I didn't want to answer it. I scrunched my bed sheet, out of frustration.
"Ellen!" A voice suddenly screamed my name. I was damn sure it was Rana.
"Ellen! You better get your stupid ass off that bed or you'll rue your decision." She kept on screaming. She was grueling.
I decided to ignore but let out a yelp when I felt a great thud on my back.
"Rana!" I frowned then sat on the bed. I pouted my lips and put my hand on my face. "Why did you have to disturb my life break, sleep?" I asked, with furrowed brows.
"Your damn phone was ringing and singing jingle bells or shit." She frowned.
"You're such a gadfly. You're just causing an hassle."
My phone rang again. It was Ava.
"Hello!" I yelled on answering the call. I could hear her squeak at the other end of the line.
"Hello." I said again, less louder.
"Hi girl." I could feel her grinning.
"Hi. What's up?" I asked, and rolled out of the covers. I got into a black cat slippers.
"So, you free today?" She asked."I want us to watch a movie together. Free for some girl time?" Her voice was a little bit lower.
"Okay sure. I really miss hanging out with you." I grinned.
Rana left the room.
"So, I'll meet you 12pm. Sharp." She giggled.
"Okay bye." I cut the call.
I went to the bathroom to have a hot bath. I brushed my teeth and did my stuff.
I went to my room. I dried my air completely with my hair dryer, applied lotion and other not really important things on my body.
I wore my underwear, then my clothes. I took a small purse to keep my money and phone.
My phone rang. It was Ava again.
"Hello." She said, immediately I picked the call, as if she knew I was going to answer at that moment.
"Hello."
"Oh Ellen. I forgot to tell you to bring some money when you're coming. I'm piss poor right now." She giggled.
"Okay. I don't really have enough money. We'll not buy much this time." I said truthfully. Our parents hadn't sent any money to us that month and we were not working. Rana was very lazy to work and didn't want to be bossed around.
"Whatever. Bye. See you by 12." She hung up before I could say anything else.
"Hello Ellie." Rana came to my room, a towel wrapped around her wet body, water dripping from her hair.
"What?" I sat on the bed.
"I need to borrow your hair dryer. Mine is broken." She walked into my room and went to my hair dryer.
"I also need to borrow a nice dress. Mine are old." She went to my wardrobe.
"Hey. You know none of my clothes will suite you." I snapped.
She sighed. "You're right. Do you have any money I can use to buy a dress, with you?" She asked.
"Nope." I said popping the 'p'.
"But. You should have." She furrowed her brows at me.
"Well. I don't." I frowned. "I'm going out with Ava and she's also piss poor. Why can't you wear your old ones?"
"I'm going out with my boyfriend and I don't want to look stupid." She turned to my wardrobe properly and began searching. "I'll find a dress or anything I can borrow."

"That movie was the greatest one I've ever watched." Ava said. She always said it when we watched any movie.
"You'll continue saying that?" I asked and sipped the juice with me. We couldn't afford to buy any other thing than a drink.
"So, where are you going next?" She asked and giggled.
"You know we can't afford anything again." I frowned.
"Please. At least you have something. I'm hungry. I have only taken this drink. I couldn't eat breakfast or lunch. I didn't think about it because we watched a 5-hour movie." She begged like a baby.
"Hey baby." A young man said out of nowhere.
"Get out!" I yelled for no reason. I knew he was trying to woo one of us.
"Ellen! Don't be rude." Ava said with a grin.
"Hi. I'm Xavier." The man said with a grin.
"I'm Ava." She said with a grin.
"Why don't you just get out." I frowned.
"Ellen!" She frowned. "I apologize on her behalf. She could be so stupid sometimes." Her tummy growled then she winced.
"I see someone's hungry." Xavier said with a warm smile and Ava blushed. "Let me take you on a nice date for dinner right now."
"Really?" Ava said with her baby like voice, blushing.
"Yes angel face and voice." He said and she blushed.
She left with him then turned to say 'sorry call me' without talking. I just read her lips.
Ava could be really stupid at times. Despite being like a baby, she was a man or boy freak. She easily accepted them.
I frowned. I sat on a bench at the side of the road.
I noticed a man harassing a young girl. She was really scared and screaming for help but I didn't think anyone could hear her.
I got really furious. I'm obviously bold, courageous, feisty.
I went to meet them, really pissed. I got to where the man was. His back was facing me so I scrunched his cloth, I twirled him to face me, and angrily gave him a hard slap on the face.
"What the hell?" He furrowed his brows at me, obviously confused.
I slapped him again.
He raised his hands to hit me and the young girl squealed. I dodged his slap by moving to the left.
He attempted again but I hit him in the balls, threw my purse to the young girl.
"Call the cops. Immediately." I shouted, hit the man, causing him to fall.
"How dare you harass a young girl." I sat on his tummy and began punching his face so hard.
"Please. Stop!" He shouted but I continued punching him.
"Please stop. You'll kill him." The young girl said. "I already called the cops. They'll be here very soon." She smiled in appreciation then the cops came and took him away.
"Thank you so much." The girl hugged me with a wide grin, revealing her broken tooth. Her beautiful afro was now scattered.
"You're welcome. What's your name?" I asked her.
"I'm Bella. Bella Keeper." She said proudly.
"I'm Ellen Greene. How old are you?"
"I'm." She narrowed her eyes and counted with her beautiful black fingers. "I'm 11." She smiled. She was so cute.
"Really?!" That stupid man should be punished for doing that to a young girl.

"Rana!" I said as I entered the living room, shutting the door. "Rana!"
"Hey knucklehead!" Rana said, really tipsy, lying stupidly on the couch with a cookie in her mouth.
"Why the hell did you get drunk?" I frowned and went to sit on the couch.
"We should have a video call with mum. I told her we didn't have any money." She said. Well, she wasn't totally stupid.
I video called our mother on Rana's laptop.
It beeped for a while before she answered.
"Hey my babies." She said with an irritating grin.
"Hi mom." I said obviously annoyed at the sight of her.
"Why did you call?" She said, not looking excited that she's calling her children since the past 9 months.
"We need money." I frowned.
"Really! Is it my time to pay you guys?" She frowned.
Our parents never had our time. The last time we all properly talked was 6 years ago. They only gave us monthly salaries.
It was shuffled, one of them would pay for the next three months and the other would do the same.
They were crazy. They were not even a proper couple. Our father and mother had their other people they made love with anytime they wanted.
"Hey baby. You ready." A man in the room our mother was, said.
He was wearing only his boxers. He was definitely not my dad.
I noticed my mom was only wearing a lacy bra and panties. How shameless.
"Okay bye children. I'll send it to you. I need to get to my proper business." She laughed then the man planted a kiss on her neck.
I cut the call and closed the laptop.
"She's so shameless." Rana said, still tipsy.
Rana's POV"Hi baby doll." Traven said, the instance he noticed me walk into the restaurant."Hi Traven." I grinned and sat on the chair beside the one he was sitting on.He planted a gentle kiss on my lips. It sent shivers down my spine. I could feel my face go red hot."Traven?!" I said shyly and looked around with a smile plastered on my face. "We're in public.""Do I care about public?" He smirked. How hot and romantic.I raised my eyebrows, opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I smiled, biting my inside cheek."Now don't blush to much." He gave me another kiss on my cheek. It felt warm and cold.Traven called a waiter and he came immediately."What would you like to eat Rana?" Traven asked, stroking my hair."Nothing. Okay? Just get me a cup of juice." I said to the wait
Ellen's POVThe image of Max kept flashing in my head. I had been dreaming about him all day long. I couldn't concentrate on anything, I was doing. He was ruddy hot.I didn't tell Rana about him, since the day I met him, which has not been 24 hours yet, because I didn't feel the need to, like my other, former crushes. But this guy was special. He needed attention.Rana had gone to church but I had a profane attitude. I felt it was too much stress.I heaved a sigh and sat on the living room floor."Max! Damn you! Why don't you get out of my head, for even a second." I groaned.I felt a nudge and involuntarily squeaked."Now, who the hell is Max?" Someone said from behind me. Rana! Asshole.I heaved a sigh then turned to look at her, giggling. I rolled my eyes."Rana?" I crossed my
Ellen's POV"Please Rana!" I begged her, scurrying after her. She was ignoring me and went to the kitchen. I followed her."Stop pestering me and leave me alone. I'm not ready to go to that fashion designer with you." I had been begging Rana to go with me to choose the greatest designs for my graduation and prom clothes. My graduation was very soon!"Rana! Please!" I pouted my lips and did the best puppy eye I could ever do."You should really stop that." She scoffed. "It doesn't suite you." She laughed. She opened the fridge and took a plate of cooked, frozen chicken from it."Rana! You know how much I hate begging humans?" I said abruptly."Then don't." She snapped. "Why the hell are you even begging me?"She placed the chicken in the microwave, turned it on.I tried to create a fudge. I didn't want to choose any stupid design then later rue
Traven's POVEllen wasn't noticing my presence but talking with Beth about clothes for her graduation and prom. I rolled my eyes at her. She was taking those things as a big deal? Well, I guessed that was the way all girls were.I had to win the bet of the 'Black Zees'.Recall..."Hey guys." Ronald, the first, leader of our group, gruffed.Everyone stopped whatever they were doing and assembled around him.He nodded his head. "There's a new bet, and whoever wins it stands the chance of being promoted in this group." He informed with vexation."What's the bet?" I asked, curiously. I was the only one brave enough to talk or ask questions when Ronald was talking. The rest just always went dumb.He frowned. "I'm not done talking." He waved in chafe.
Traven's POVI was thwart, at the fact that Rana was ready to leave, but I agreed to go on the date.I craned my neck to look at Rana. She looked really excited. I felt like an asshole for cheating on her. I promised, after high school, she would be the only woman in my life. Or, Ellen.I heaved a sigh and took a bite of my Beans on toast."I'm sorry for yelling." Rana bent her head, in abash."It's fine." I grinned and brought my phone out of my pocket. I went to the ringtone to make it seem like I had a phone call."Hello." I smiled. "Dad?" I looked at Rana. "Oh. Yes. I'm coming." I placed the phone back in my pocket."You're leaving?" She frowned, sadness registered in her tone.I heaved a sigh, drove my fingers into my hair. "No. I have to meet my dad for business. I'll be right back." I pla
Traven's POVI wrapped my arm around Ellen's waist, held the back of her head, tight, with the help of the hand of my other arm, and forced a hard kiss on her lips.I could tell that she was completely shocked, but melted into the sensation.I didn't want to break the kiss at that moment. It felt so good.I shut my eyes for a while, and, opened it. My eyes met with Rana's, across the road. It was really shocking. What was she doing there? Her eyes expressed a painful astonishment. I could feel my heart sink to my feet.None of my girlfriends, ever caught me cheating. Why Rana?!Tears rolled down her cheeks and her eyes became, instantly red. She shook her head, sobbing. Her entire body was vibrating.I didn't realise that I hadn't broken the kiss until she turned, and ran away with a very great speed.
Rana's POVI sprinted to the living room."Ellen." I hollered.I noticed Ellen sitting on the chair and reading a newspaper. That was awkward, but I decided to brush it off with a shake of head."Ellen." I sat beside her."What?" She glared."Traven said he is coming over." I wailed unexpectedly."So?" She rolled her eyes."I don't want to see him. I am not ready for that. I am in enough pain." I sniffed, wiped the tears on my cheeks."I know, but you have to talk." She smiled, dropped the tedious newspaper, on the table. She rested her palms on my thigh, heaved a sigh."I don't want to see that asshole. I can't believe he cheated. It drives me crazy when I think about it." I sobbed."You still have to listen to him." She stood up, placed her hands on her hips with a rol
Traven's POV"Rana," I exhaled deeply, biting my lower lips in vexation, clutching the wheels of my car.She cut the call before I could say anything else.Furiously, I turned to Eve. "What's your problem?" I questioned, saying every word slowly like I was reading it from a eye test chart. She crossed her arms on her chest, ignoring the inferior items on her hands."I should be asking you that." She pouted her lips towards the direction of her left chin. "You're obviously cheating." She tapped her foot on the ground impetuously.I sighed in displeasure. "See, Eve, I don't have your time." I started the car."Eve?" She widened her eyes angrily. "I'm Daisy
