Sienna’s POV

The bass from Nova’s private rehearsal room vibrated through the entire mansion that evening. I tried to focus on my report, but his voice kept pulling me in.

That raw, raspy tone — the way he growled certain lyrics, then softened on others — it did something dangerous to my body.

I finally gave up and walked toward the rehearsal room. The door was open. Nova stood under dim lights, shirtless and sweating, guitar slung low across his hips.

His eyes were closed as he poured everything into the song. The power in his voice, the way his body moved with the music… it hit me harder than I wanted to admit.

When the last note faded, he opened his eyes and caught me watching.

“Enjoy the show, Detective?” he asked, wiping sweat from his chest with a towel.

“It was fine,” I said, keeping my voice flat. “But we need to talk.”

He set the guitar down and followed me to the living room. The tension between us had been building all day, and I couldn’t hold it in anymore.

“You’re not taking any of this seriously,” I started, turning to face him. “You act like this is some game. Like getting arrested, destroying property, and having me stuck here is just another wild story for your next album.”

Nova’s jaw tightened. “What do you want from me, Sienna? You want me to cry and say I’m sorry? Fuck that.”

“I want you to grow up!” My voice rose. “You have everything — talent, money, fame — and you’re throwing it away like a spoiled child. You don’t care about the consequences. You don’t care about anything!”

He stepped closer, green eyes flashing with anger. “You think you know me? You don’t know shit. I’m caged in my own fucking house because of one bad night. I can’t even breathe without you watching me. You call that justice?”

“It’s called consequences,” I shot back. “Maybe if you stopped acting like the world owes you something, you wouldn’t need a babysitter.”

Nova laughed bitterly, running a hand through his messy hair. “You think I asked for this life? The constant pressure, the fake people, the label breathing down my neck every second? I’m suffocating. And now I’ve got you — Miss Perfect — judging me every fucking minute.”

“I’m doing my job!”

“Your job?” He moved forward until we were inches apart. “Your job is to make my life hell. You walk around here in those tight clothes, smelling good, looking at me like you want to eat me alive but pretending you’re above it all. That’s bullshit, Sienna.”

My heart pounded. “Don’t turn this on me. You’re the problem here.”

“Am I?” His voice dropped dangerously low. “Then why are you still standing here? Why haven’t you walked away?”

I opened my mouth to answer, but nothing came out. The air between us felt electric. His intense green eyes locked onto mine, and for a moment, all the anger shifted into something hotter. Darker.

Then it snapped.

Nova grabbed me, pulling me against him. Our mouths crashed together in a rough, angry kiss. No softness. No hesitation. Just pure heat.

He dominated the kiss instantly, one hand gripping the back of my neck, the other on my waist.

His tongue pushed past my lips, claiming my mouth like he owned it.

I gasped against him, and he used it to kiss me deeper, harder. My back hit the wall with a thud as he pressed his body into mine.

“Fuck,” he growled against my lips, biting my bottom lip before soothing it with his tongue. “You taste even better when you’re pissed off.”

I should’ve pushed him away. Instead, my hands fisted in his hair, pulling him closer.

For a few dangerous seconds, I gave in completely. I kissed him back just as hard, our bodies grinding together.

His hand slid under my shirt, rough fingers brushing my skin, making me shiver.

Nova groaned into my mouth, hips pressing forward so I could feel how hard he was. “That’s it, Detective. Let me feel you.”

The heat between my legs became unbearable. His mouth moved to my neck, sucking hard enough to leave a mark.

I moaned before I could stop myself.

Reality crashed back in.

I shoved him back with all my strength. “Stop!”

Nova stepped back, breathing hard, lips swollen. His eyes were wild with lust.

“What the hell was that?” I snapped, touching my lips. My hands were shaking. “I could report you for this. This is crossing every line.”

He smirked, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. That cocky, infuriating look returned. “Go ahead… but we both know you felt that. Your body doesn’t lie, Sienna. You kissed me back like you’ve been starving for it.”

“Shut up.”

“Make me,” he challenged, voice rough. “You know where my room is.”

I turned and stormed upstairs without another word, slamming my bedroom door behind me.

My heart wouldn’t slow down. My lips still tingled.

This was bad. Really bad.

Later that night, I lay in bed staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep. My thighs pressed tightly together, trying to ignore the aching heat between them.

Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Nova’s face, felt his hands on me, tasted him on my tongue.

What the hell was wrong with me? He was everything I hated — reckless, arrogant, dangerous. Yet one kiss from him had me questioning everything.

I rolled over, frustrated and restless.

Then I heard it.

Soft footsteps stopping right outside my bedroom door. A shadow moved under the gap. Nova was standing there.

I held my breath, heart racing wildly. The handle didn’t turn, but I could feel him on the other side, deciding.

He didn’t knock. He didn’t speak.

But he didn’t leave either.

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 4: The Game Begins

Sienna’s POV Sunlight poured through the massive kitchen windows the next morning. I walked in still half-asleep, hoping for coffee and some peace. Instead, I got Nova Kane standing at the stove wearing nothing but black sweatpants that hung dangerously low on his hips. His back was to me, tattoos shifting across his muscles as he flipped pancakes. He glanced over his shoulder, that signature smirk already in place. “Morning, Detective. Sleep well? Or were you too busy thinking about me?” I ignored the bait and headed straight for the coffee machine. “We need to set some ground rules for daily routine. Breakfast at eight. I check in with my captain at nine. You stay where I can see you at all times.” Nova turned around, holding a spatula like a weapon. His abs flexed as he leaned against the counter, eyes dragging over my simple tank top and shorts. “You look good in the morning. All messy hair and attitude. Makes me hungry for something besides pancakes.” “Rule one for toda

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 3: First Night

Sienna’s POV The music pounded in my ears as I stood frozen in the doorway. Nova lounged on the massive bed like a king, two half-naked women draped over him. One had her lips on his neck, the other ran her hands down his stomach. But his eyes—those sharp green eyes—were locked on me the entire time. “Get them out,” I repeated, my voice cutting through the heavy bass. “Right now, Kane.” Nova smirked. He gently pushed the girls off his lap, surprising me. No argument. No fight. He simply stood up, all six-foot-something of tattooed muscle, and handed them their clothes. “Time to go, ladies,” he said, voice raspy. “Party’s over.” One of them pouted. “But Nova—” “Now.” His tone left no room for discussion. He pulled out his wallet, handed them both cash, and guided them toward the door. They shot me dirty looks as they passed, but I didn’t care. My focus stayed on him. Once the door shut behind them, Nova turned to face me fully. Shirtless. Sweatpants low. That dangerous smirk

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 2: The Assignment

Sienna’s POV I stormed into Captain Reyes’ office without knocking, my blood already boiling. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” I said, slamming the door behind me. “Live with him? For ninety days? In his mansion?” Captain Reyes didn’t even look up from the paperwork at first. He just pointed at the chair across from his desk. “Sit down, Vale.” “I’d rather stand.” He finally lifted his eyes, face tired and serious. “This isn’t a request. It’s an order.” I crossed my arms tight over my chest. “Sir, I just brought that asshole in last night. He’s a walking disaster. Assign someone else. Ramirez, Torres, anyone.” “You’re the best we’ve got for this,” he said flatly. “High-profile. The department’s under pressure. Judges, media, the label — everyone’s watching. One wrong move and Nova Kane walks free or we look corrupt. You don’t bend rules. That’s why it’s you.” I let out a bitter laugh. “So I have to babysit a spoiled rockstar who thinks laws don’t apply to him? In his house?” Rey

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 1: The Arrest

Sienna’s POV The hotel suite looked like a war zone. Broken glass crunched under my boots as I stepped through the door, gun drawn but barrel pointed down. Shattered bottles, overturned furniture, and the sharp smell of spilled whiskey mixed with expensive cologne hit me like a slap. Two half-naked women scrambled to cover themselves with sheets while a shirtless guy with wild black hair stood in the middle of the chaos like he owned the destruction. Nova Kane. I’d seen his face on billboards and tabloids, but in person he looked even more dangerous. Tall, tattooed, lean muscle, messy hair falling into sharp green eyes. He held a half-empty bottle like a trophy, swaying slightly, a cocky grin plastered on his face. “Detective,” he drawled, voice low and raspy from years of screaming on stage. “You’re late to the party.” “Put your hands where I can see them,” I snapped, ignoring the heat in his stare. “Now.” He laughed, deep and rough, and slowly raised his hands. One of the
