🦋 CATALINA 🦋

Standing at the centre of the street with the Metallic and Salty taste of someone else's blood lingering on my tongue.

My whole body instantly seized up. My eyes squeeze shut, a low, guttural groan escaping my throat.

I violently spat the gathering saliva onto the ground. It lands with a wet thwack.

Leaning against the wall, dry-heaving, my mouth stretched wide in a silent scream. I grab my bottle of water and furiously swish and spat again and again, trying to erase the abominable flavor from my tongue. Every nerve screaming poison.

When I finally manage to breathe, I push myself upright.

I hadn't just tasted someone's blood; I had tasted the serious ruin of the city, and the taste of my own reckless stupidity for seeking it out, if only I had minded my business and gone straight ahead. I wipe my mouth with the back of a shaking hand, the metallic taste still faintly present, a terrible secret burned onto my palate forever.

“You darn vampire! Be it a particular tree’s stake, leaf, ash, or fire… just let me find a way to kill you. You are dead.”

Turning my shaky legs, I slowly look over the piled-up bodies. They didn't get a proper death; I hope they get a proper burial.

My eyes have seen many misfortunes in this city, and I'm starting to rethink whether I can actually survive it.

Suddenly, a feeling of dread settles at the back of my mind, the hair on my body stood as chills crept up on my skin, and just then, the necklace Corvin had left on me just a while ago, roars to life, shining red and begins to vibrate.

Then I know, something is watching me, something supernatural, that's not Corvin.

I've heard about Magnus, the leader of Asmodeus's heirs, a werewolf and the Alpha of their pack, which is a squad to the outside world, but what no one remembered to tell me about is how to escape from Magnus, the Alpha.

“He said I owed him death. Is he after me… now?” I thought.

Suddenly, a shadow of an animal came into sight, “Is that a cat? A huge cat?” I murmur to myself as the necklace glows brighter red.

Eyes widening in horror as I realise what is happening. “It's not a cat. It's a werewolf… Magnus!”

Sensing danger, my feet react quickly, pounding the cracked concrete, the sound echoing off the dark buildings like a death knell. I am running for my life, the streetlights blurring together in a maddening whirl.

The chase continues, with Magnus closing in, his eyes fixed on me with an unnatural hunger.

I pump my arms harder, my breath coming in ragged gasps. Magnus's claws scrape against the pavement, the sound sending a chill down my spine. I could feel its hot breath on my neck, the hairs on my skin standing on end.

The street is deserted, the only sound the pounding of my feet and Magnus's relentless pursuit. I dart between parked cars, using them as cover. But he is relentless, his eyes fixed on me with an unblinking gaze.

I see a narrow alleyway up ahead, a dark and foreboding passage between two buildings, and one of the buildings is where I live. Without hesitation, I sprint towards it, Magnus closing in fast. I burst into the alleyway, the darkness enveloping me like a shroud.

Magnus follows, his massive body squeezing through the narrow passage. I can hear his labored breathing, his eyes fixed on me with an unnatural intelligence. I know I have to keep moving to find a way out of this nightmare.

I run as fast as I can, the alleyway seeming to stretch on forever. But I can hear Magnus gaining on me, his claws scrabbling against the walls. I am running out of time, and I know it.

Suddenly, I see a glimmer of light up ahead, the end of the alleyway, a chance to escape… my home. I sprint towards it, with Magnus mere feet behind. I burst out into the bright lights of the street, gasping for air, and rushed into my gate, securing it with the key.

The gate doesn't stop Magnus; it is as though he is determined to kill me tonight.

The full moon cast an eerie glow as he hurtled towards me. His eyes burn with a feral intensity as he grasps the iron gate, flying across it, his massive body soaring through the air.

I scream as the creature lands on the other side, his eyes locked onto mine with a terrifying gaze. Magnus's claws dig into the ground, and he begins to stalk towards me, his movements eerily silent.

My voice echoes through the night as I turn to flee, but my feet feel heavy, as if rooted to the spot.

“I'm not dying tonight!” I scream, pulling myself together as I run towards my apartment with huge steps, an action Magnus also took to ensure I wouldn't escape.

He grips my leg in an instant, his claws dip into my flesh as he attempts to pull me closer with it.

A loud cry rolls out of my tongue as the pain of his big, fat claws stabbing into my flesh hits.

With my free leg, I kick him in the face, the impact slipping through his soft fur towards the sensitive part of his face, but it isn't enough to make him let me go, so I dip my hand into the soil and take a handful of sand, throwing it at his face.

He growls and steps back, shaking his head in an attempt to get the sand out of his eyes.

Taking his temporary blindness as an opening, I crawl towards my apartment in a hurry and slam the door shut, locking it twice.

Sitting against the door with my mouth open, my breath came in short gasps as I tried to regain composure.

I can still hear Magnus's growl just outside my house, until I hear nothing and he's gone.

A breath of relief jumped out of my lungs as I held onto my left leg, which is now bleeding so much from the claw mark injury.

With a hand on my doorknob, I push myself up, dragging my left foot towards my room to clean up the blood and probably put some bandages to secure it, then a strange footstep catches my attention, it is like there is someone there, in my home.

I see a mobbing stick and pick it up, limping towards the direction of the room, all the while not trying to worsen my semi-broken elbow.

When I get to my bedroom, the door is slightly open, so I peep through. It is thick with the scent of sweat and lingering cologne, the air heavy with the kind of quiet that only comes when someone is alone with their darkest cravings.

“Nevan?” I thought.

My upstairs neighbor sits on the edge of my unmade bed, the sheets still rumpled from the last time I’d tossed in them. His fingers twitched around the delicate scrap of fabric in his palm… my panties, stolen from my laundry basket.

The lace is soft, almost weightless, but the dampness clinging to the crotch makes his pulse hammer in his throat.

He takes them to his nose, inhaling slowly and deeply. The scent hit him like a punch to the gut, musky, warm, unmistakably me. His cock jerks in his jeans, “I'm already half-hard from the thought of you,” he whispers, “From the way your hips had swayed when you bent over to grab your keys, which fell on your way out this morning.”

His breath came faster, shallower, as he pressed the panties harder against his face, dragging the lace over his lips, his tongue flicking out to taste the dampness. Fuck. “You had been wet, Catalina. So fucking wet. Have you been thinking of me when you got like this? Had your fingers slipped beneath the silk, teasing your clit while you imagined my mouth between your thighs?”

I squeeze my face in disgust behind the door as I watch the thought make his dick throb painfully. He shifts on the mattress, his free hand dropping to his zipper, fingers fumbling with the metal teeth. The sound of the zipper parting was obscenely loud in the quiet room. He didn’t bother pushing his jeans down further, just freed his cock, the heavy length already flushed dark with blood, the tip glistening with pre-cum.

A bead of it welled at the slit, thick and clear, and he smeared it down his shaft with his thumb, groaning at the slick drag of his own touch.

Nevan didn’t waste time. His grip was rough, desperate, as he started stroking himself, his fist sliding from root to crown with practiced ease. The panties were still mashed against his face, the scent of my pussy filling his lungs with every ragged breath.

🦋 CATALINA 🦋I hop from one foot to the other anxiously, gawking at the wristwatch I have on, “I really don’t have time,” I thought.“It’s not supposed to be fun, I’m asking you to use and dump me,” Luka says, dragging me back to the present.“No, Luka,” I voice. “That’s totally preposterous! Find a way to get over me on your own.”“But I can’t, I told you this is all new to me,” he explains softly. “I just…”“Luka!” I interrupt, breathing heavily. “Can you just get lost? Fuck off! I have a lot to worry about, and I’m not about to add you to that list.”I storm off, walking away from Professor Matteo’s door towards the female’s toilet, and I slam the door shut as soon as I walk in.I walk towards a wash basin and hit it in frustration, staring at my face in the mirror, “Why now of all time? What exactly does he see in me? I’m not even that pretty, I dress in clothes big enough to use as a blanket, my face is bare and pale… I didn’t fix nails, eyelashes, or whatever they call those t

🦋 CATALINA 🦋How do you make someone hate you? All my life, I’ve only seen people making an effort to be liked by another, but because of my unfortunate situation, the reverse is the case; I have to work hard to make someone hate me, and it had to be Professor Matteo. My life keeps crumbling brick by brick. Corvin the vampire seems to be ignoring me; he hasn’t appeared in front of me for a while now. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing, if he decided to let me go, or if he’s planning a worse way to drain me.The necklace I have on still glows faintly whenever I’m on my way home at night, Alpha Magnus still follows behind me like a lost dog, and no matter how much I challenge him, he won’t come out.Because of this, I’m not looking forward to the full moon. Last time he attacked me, it was on a full moon; he was a fully transformed werewolf with claws as sharp as a dagger. He wanted to kill me; I could feel it, and I barely escaped. At home, I feel like my walls have eye

🦋 CATALINA 🦋“I could die?” I ask, facing Yumeko. “Can’t I just make him like me? Twisted reaction, he hates liking people, so that way he wouldn’t hurt me and simply expel me.”“Are you stupid? It’s different! When he likes you, he’ll make your life in this school hell because he hates liking people, but he will NEVER let you go, till death do you part, no, even after death, his ghost would still hunt you,” Yumeko snaps. “But when he actually hates you, he doesn’t want to set his eyes on you. So, he’ll by all means get rid of you. By expelling or killing you.”My jaw drops in shock and fear, “Shit! Sounds like something I should never do.”Yumeko raises an eyebrow, shaking her head, “Seems you’re not ready to leave. Freedom comes with a risk; every good thing comes with a risk.”“Easy for you to say,” I fire back, pointing my index finger at myself before pointing at her, “I’m the one doing the risk, you’re the one enjoying the show.”Yumeko raised her shoulders and let them fall,

🦋 CATALINA 🦋I drag my feet home from the academy to prepare for tonight’s welcome party, my bag in one hand and another bag filled with what Nabi expects me to wear tonight. It’s a mini-length dress hitting mid-thigh, the fabric is short, stretchy, and light, creating a figure-hugging fit throughout the body. A branded, really fancy, glowing, vibrant solid red color, a halter neck style that plunges low down the front, with an open back. Matched with a strappy high-heeled sandals that perfectly match the red color of the dress.Suddenly, the necklace I have on begins to glow faintly, and I realize something supernatural is trailing behind me, but keeping a distance.“Don’t be a coward…” I murmur, assured he can hear me. “How long would you follow behind when you can just confront me. You’re not even human. Why are you so weak?”“Magnus, I know it’s you,” I add. “You almost killed me once. Why are you hiding? Just do it again! You cowardly bastard.”“I’m honestly actually too tired

  • CUPID'S DARN CURSE.   017 – I NEED A WAY OUT.

🦋 CATALINA 🦋After my shower, I check the mirror and realize I have no bite mark. Not only that, my elbow and leg no longer hurt; as a matter of fact, the injury wasn’t there at all, not even a scar or a scratch. I was feeling brand new, like Magnus never leg-clawed, traumatized me, and Rook the bully never flung me to the wall and broke my precious elbow.“Honestly, what did Corvin feed to me?” I ask myself curiously. All I remember was him feeding something to me, but that was it; all the memory I have stops there. When I get to the school gate, Tamara, Nabi, and Yumeko stand there waiting for me, and I smile at the gesture, thinking it was really sweet, until I realize why.“Please don’t look up!” Nabi yells from where she is standing. My gaze slowly rises to find a huge banner that basically covers the whole gate. The banner is a picture of me in underwear, my hands behind me trying to take off my bra, photo shopped to be blowing a flying kiss, my lips were popped out with one e

🦋 CATALINA 🦋When I wake up, it feels as if nothing happened at all. I can barely remember last night, nor do I feel any pain.“How did I get home?” I wonder, picking myself up from the couch. Then fragments of yesterday begin to come together.“Corvin…” I murmur. “He bit me… that bastard.”But weirdly, I feel no pain. I still remember how unbearable it was, my screams, cries, and fights. I remember passing out due to loss of blood. I remember him… carrying me home, and feeding me something.I’m lucky I’m alive, but I should definitely not feel this strong. What did he feed me? Whatever it is must be the reason I feel great.Suddenly, my phone beeps and I rush to pick it up, glancing at the pop-up notification. You have a new message from ‘Do not be among us.’ Group chat.Yumeko: I owe you a box of donuts. @catalinaMe: Is this your way of apologizing? For saying I’m pathetic and selfish, for needing friends who would come running when I’m in trouble?Yumeko: Eat, while I’m serving.
