CALIANAS POV.

"Please, I'm sorry. Let me go!" I pleaded, but nothing happened. I'm yanked by the hair as I tremble, the knife aimed at my heart.

"You should have known your place," she mutters to me before the knife is plunged deep into my heart as she lets out a hysterical laughter.

I sat up in bed as I awoke; my eyes were open, my knees felt weak, and my whole body trembled. I wiped off the beads of sweat that formed on my head. I looked around and then to my chest. I traced my hand carefully around it, and I was right—it was nothing but a nightmare.

I rose from bed with a sigh. Something bad was about to happen. I had no reason to say or think such a thing, but I felt it deep down and into my bones. It wasn't right with me. There was no reason for a nightmare about Candace, and I made sense. Besides, she was wrong, and I was right. As much as I hated that she was with Edward, I had not said anything about that. I merely corrected her for having spoken to me in that manner with her
