Emily's pov

I could hear faint steps approach me causing me to rise carefully away from my spot.

Hastily I walk towards the little gate I had seen earlier hoping to see Kyle.

I stop in my tracks with my face turned right and left, I could feel some sort of happiness and excitement arise within me.

I could perceive a scent I had longed for, Luke's scent invading my nostrils causing my legs to move on their own accord.

Drawing nearer to the scent I could feel myself becoming restless gradually, there was an odd sensation I felt yet still.it was something I could not explain.

I see him speaking with Alpha Kai and it surprises me, I had expected him to remain in the pack afterall I had told him to stay away from me.

"Luke" I call out to him as soon as Alpha Kai points at me and turns away from me.

I could not understand the reason he was here and why he was looking so sober, he looked like he had lost lots of weight, he had dark circles beneath his eyelids.
