EDWARD'S POV

"What do you mean she's missing?" I asked, my voice filled with rage. I banged my fist against the table as I stood to my feet.

"I'm sorry; I should not have left her to be, but I felt she required privacy; she asked us to leave, and we could not defy her orders." The more explanation they gave, the more anger I felt.

"You have them locked up until she is found; for all I know, she may be in danger or they may have aided her escape," I ordered as a pack guard came forward and dragged them out.

"And you, any news yet?" I asked; my patience was running low, and they knew it. She was right around the pack grounds, but I didn't like this. I had enemies all around, but of all days, it certainly should not be tonight.

"They've combed all the floors, but she is nowhere; the search has been extended out towards the main grounds; she must be somewhere here; they had noticed she wasn't in her room on time; she'll be found soon," Jamal explained.
