I didn't know how much time had passed as I simply remained in Edward's embrace. Until he finally spoke up.

" Mia... " He broke the hug, still holding me close to himself. He held up my chin with his fingers and made me stare deeply into his eyes.

Though my mind screamed that he would hurt me, my heart spoke otherwise.
