The night before Camila's accident
Elijah's P.O.V
"For some reason I believe you two are up to something" Dad says striding over to my bed.
I don't look up at him for a second, I've tried staying out of his way countless times, I don't feel the need anymore to please him.
"If we were up to something, do you think I'd be here and not with my wife?" I ask.
"Your wife!?" he shouts making me look up at him, "since when has she been your wife, this is all a game Elijah, I've told you many times not to mix business with pleasure" he snares.
"She's been my wife since that day we had a big meaningless wedding, she's been my wife since we signed our lives over to each other, she's been my wife for months, so mixing business with pleasure was never an issue for me, her needs are my top priority now, it was your own fault for putting me in this mess" I replied getting up to face him.
