I stared at the coffee brown casket as it sat above the six feet hole, my best friend's body supposedly laying inside, the cruelty this world brings was out of many questions I had.
My emotionless being stared at the box, unaware what to feel in this exact moment, just thinking about losing Camila made me numb, she was one of the best things I had in my life, I never dreamed of standing by her casket, knowing there was nothing I could have done to stop her from driving into that plan.
Camila knew about Nick's plan for months, she knew he would try to kill her after he got what he really wanted. He knew Camila and Elijah would eventually conspire against their families, it was no secret how the two felt about each other.
