CHAPTER 3 - THE ORIGINAL STORY 'TRUE LOVE'

Sarah's Pov - (Point of View)

The events of the Novel take place in the Kennedy Empire.

The Novel says that the Kennedy Empire is one of the most powerful Empires since they had a lot of magic support as well as their powerful knight forces...

The male lead Fredrick Nicholson Lloyd Kennedy is engaged to the villainess Rubia Mary Albert Charleston (A political marriage or an arranged marriage) at the age of 19.

The novel does not mention much about the crown prince's childhood except for the fact that his mother was a noble who used her pregnancy as a reason to get closer to the position of Empress.

Apparently, the woman died when the crown prince was 4.

The emperor loved his child, he just didn't show it much (the guy was probably a tsundere) and he wished for the prince to find his true love which is probably why he accepted the relationship between Fredrick and Catherine (the female lead).

Fredrick doesn't care much about the villainess Rubia but, Rubia is shown to love him since he was one of the few people that understood her truly...

Fredrick and Catherine meet coincidentally when he saves her from a group of thugs and he instantly fell in love with her (so cliched). From then on Fredrick constantly went to check up on Catherine and eventually bought her the title of Countess.

Rubia who heard of these events from the maid’s gossip was irritated and filled with jealousy.

So well, I guess it's obvious...

Rubia attempts to poisoned Catherine.

Fredrick finds about it and charges Rubia of attempted murder.

Louis (Rubia's brother) begged for his sister to not have a heavy punishment.

Frederick accepted his request for childhood’s sake...

Rubia is then imprisoned for Two years and when she is released, she once again wished for the death of Catherine.

So, she charges at Catherine with a knife but she's saved by the royal knights.

When Fredrick hears of these events, he gives Rubia a death sentence...

And after that comes Catherine and Frederick's engagement...

The only ones that truly cares about Rubia in the end were her parents and her brother.

Ps... The author of the novel 'True love' also mentions that Louis had unrequited feelings for Catherine. But he couldn't choose her over his sister...

See the story was truly shitty wasn't it...?!!

I don't really want to face all this stuff in the future so I'm going to work hard and live my second Life

The first step to me having my peaceful life is to lay the foundation by building a deeper connection with my family and the maids and servants of the Duchy since it might work to my benefit it the near future

In my previous life I did not have a father I did have a mother but I barely ever saw her or conversed with her since she was working hard to pay off the debts so I never really felt parental love but, in this life, I wish for that to change even if it is just a bit.

Rubia never really cared about her family since she was obsessed over the crown prince but I don't believe she hated her parents or brother she might have just built a wall around her while they were there and the only one who was able to cross this wall was probably the prince (I don't really understand why though.)
