Reagan

" No one dares Esme," he said and I looked up at him in frustration. His figure towered above me and I shifted backward to increase the space between us.

" I apologize for the impromptu visit, it won't happen again," he said and I stood, puzzled at his words.

Perhaps the way he let himself be seen by me was what gave me the guts to think I could address him however I wanted.

I closed my eyes and pressed down a calming breath before opening them to talk to him.

" You are no ordinary, man Mr Todd, and you going all around, yesterday night, today is not safe for you," I voiced, trying to make him understand my point of concern.

" Esme," he called and I gave no response.

" When you have a case, Mr. Todd, I'll respond to you accurately, there are many possible ways for you to send a message to check on me, but coming all the way to Ergo is a bit out of line," I said and watched as his demeanor changed.

" I didn't think about the inconvenience it would cause you," he said.
