Chapter 17

The tip of our nose almost touched! Yes, the distance of our body was that close and it's so uncomfortable. Specially when he started staring at me intently and the atmosphere changed into 'kissing vibe', omg my heart almost skipped a beat.

But I'm glad nothing happened on our way here. The awkward atmostphere also vanished and we became more focused on our goal - to have a contract with a spirit

Infront of us, is a big pyramid stone. It's color is silver with a golden 'archaic letters' incripted in it.

"so this is the stone of elejera where daddy and calix had to go through those hellish exams just to have a contract with spirits" I mumbled

"Before you go up the altar, make sure you're prepared for it. The god of spirits will most likely target your weaknesses, and they are more hostile at royalties so  they may make a rougher exam for you" 

So they really are hostile toward royalties. I thought that was just a rumor
