"Our little princess is so adorable. I may be insolent to think of you as my family but I truly feel that way" It is currently my first birthday but since we didn't celebrate, my nanny 'Niña Prodellon' took me out to stroll in the garden.

My nanny is the one who spoke with me as soon as I get transported into this body. Just like what she said back then, she filled me with love.

And to be honest, every time she speak about 'her love' for me, I'll feel a pang on my chest.

The reason is not that I feel bad for taking princess's Ledecia's body but, because she'll die early. Obviously, the reason is her being acquianted to me.

You guys may be wondering why.

It's because the emperor can't make me suffer when someone who fully loves me is by my side.

He really hates me. That d*mned emperor. How can he do this to his daughter and nanny?

I wanna do something about it but what can I do when It'll happen now?

Yes. It'll happen now after we stroll outside!! 

He's really ruthless

Honestly, I already tried to distance myself from her cause I know that she'll die early but I can't. As time goes by, I felt happier with her by my side but I didn't expect myself to be so attached to her to the point where I can't even imagine myself living without her.

But still,

I need to at least do something. I don't want my only friend to die!

"aw, why is our princess frowning? Don't you love the flower--"

"Miss Prodellon!! The emperor visited the palace! He's currently looking for you"

My nanny's kind words were interrupted when a maid who's running breathlessly shouted something terrifying

'What? Why now?? I'm still not ready'

I noticed how my nanny trembled with fear just by hearing the word 'emperor'. 

That's why I took a glance at her pale skin once again and hugged her like as if I'm assuring her that it'll be alright

"Princess it'll be okay. But if something happens, I'll sacrifice my life for you so please always remember that I love you"

'Doon't say that please'

After she utters those words, she immediately went to see 'the emperor' while holding me. Of course, both of us were pale and nervous

"Greetings your majesty. Forgive my insolence. H-how could I d-dare to let you wait for me--"

As we reach where he is, I saw a dazzling, stunning face

What a handsome man.

I already expected him to be handsome since it was descripted at the novel but still, this is too much. He's beyond human's appearance

"Shut up!!" the emperor shouted

My eyes rounded as his shout rang,

'What the h*ll?

His white silky hair was shining so brightly to the point that it compliments his fair skin. And everything about his appearance are perfect. Specially his blue piercing eyes.

But he's giving me chills! His dark aura wasn't visible but you can freely feel it. I can even feel my sweats pouring just by standing in front of him

This won't do! I need to do something for my nanny!!

Wait--

What if I gain the emperor's favor? Wouldn't it be better than anyone else??

But-

But I could die any moment if I do that. It's too risky 

Knowing this heartless beast who can't even spare his daughter's nanny, he may kill me as well. It's a suicide 

I contemplated for a bit but came to a decision immediately after feeling that this guy is already starting to emit a darker aura

'I just have to do something to save her'

"So this kid who killed her mother is still alive huh?" He said taking a step toward me. Obviously, my heart pounded even more.

But despite of my panicking appearance, I am calmly thinking any way to gain his favor.

A Smile!!!

Yes. A smile should make me cuter

I gave him a very cute smile and looked into his cold eyes. Sadly, he looked at me with disgust on his face. 

'How dare you treat your daughter that way!!'

He stared at me again after seeing my bright smile then suddenly looked away.

"strangely, she looks a mutt"

What? A mutt? I am fvcking cuter than that'

Hold yourself. Just smile. This is for the sake of your survival and your nanny's life.

'Should I make myself cuter by saying I love you? But what If I got killed?'

No. I'm gonna do it. 

"ay wab yu daddy" 

[I love you, daddy]

Now you've done it. I'm dying! 

"Hahh! What did I just hear from this filthy bug?" 

"Your majesty I believe the princess said 'I love you" when the knight told him what I meant, he stiffened.

"ay Mishh Yuu daddiii"

 [I miss you, daddy]

Did I just dig my own grave??

I won't die, right? 

I was startled when he took a step toward me. Will he kill my nanny and me?

I knew it! Tactics like this won't do-

Contraction of what I expected, he stopped midway and walked away

I just looked at his back confused. What was that? 

Well, it doesn't matter since my nanny is alive.
