Chapter 23

In every outcome Nathan had thought of his venturing to see Jane, he hadn’t thought it would go like this.

With her kissing him like her life depended on it and him drinking and tasting every bit of her that he could. He wasn’t sure what the kiss meant for them, but for him it meant the possibility that they still had a chance to be together.

Wrapped in her own desires Jane couldn’t control the way her body responded to his, like she has been thirsty for a long time and he was the only water that could cure her.

It took only a second when they broke off to come up for air for her to realize her foolishness of letting him know how much he affected him.

Without thinking she pushed him away and took a step back. “What do you think you’re doing?” she asked, eyes still glazed over from the kiss- Nathan could see that much.
