“What? What marriage?” She gasped, looking horrified and totally lost. Did she hear him correctly? Did he mention their wedding? But how could that be possible? He hadn’t even proposed yet!
“Our marriage! We’re getting married today,” said Nikolas, getting down from his car.
“Today? But you haven’t even proposed yet! In fact, you said that you don’t want to get married, like never! Then what changed suddenly?” She demanded, feeling angry at him.
“Nothing changed suddenly. I want to marry you, now! So are you coming or should I have to carry you into the County Clerk’s office?” Asked Nikolas impatiently, opening the door for her, eager to do as he had just threatened.
