After having waited for hours, Brooklyn was excited to hear Nikolas’s voice downstairs, talking to Kathy. ‘He’s here, he’s here,’ her heart sang with glee. She sat in the nursery, feeding the twins and waiting impatiently for him to come upstairs. What was taking him so long?
After five minutes, Nikolas peered inside the nursery, looking for her. The moment his eyes connected to hers, he flashed a dazzling smile at her.
