Matt POV

As I grab her hand the sparks of the mate bond dance along my skin. I’d promised myself if I saw her again I’d tell her the truth. About my past and about my feelings. I don’t want to hide things anymore. I knew the bond between us would be strong but I didn’t know how strong until the moment she disappeared right in front of me. I’d treated her badly up until that point. So used to being cold and alone I put the mask on and keep my distance. I look down at her and my heart pangs. “Ours” Zeus growls in my head.

I roll my eyes at him , he takes possession to a new level. Zeus is a ruthless killer yet he melts when he see’s Nova. We head towards the grass hill just pass the pack house.

Nova takes a seat on the grass and looks up at me. Her purple eyes taking on a heavenly hue in the sun. I sit next to her and just breathe. I’ve been on edge for 2 days. Close to insanity trying to work out what happened and where she’d gone. Now she’s back and I have to confess to e
