We walked to the headmistress’s office and took our seats. Once I was settled in, the headmistress looked at me with a nervous look. She made a tent with her fingers on the table and said, “I am sorry for what happened out there a few minutes ago. I—”

“Cut to the main point, Madam,” I said, my arms crossed, my breathing labored and my eyes shooting daggers at her.

She sighed, a little frown etched on her forehead, “I know what you suffered out there is unforgivable. I did not expect the students to turn out so feral. But you know, I can work on improving everything if you keep this all a secret,” she handed me a small smile and my eyes narrowed.

She was scared of me reporting the whole incident to Dom. They all knew well that if the news reached his ears, he would shred this institution to pieces. the points to unlock a chapter just keep going up. as a writer you should take in that your readers are only reading a chapter a day. the ones that use their daily bonus points. they could read more.if the points to unlock a chapter are so high. there are other books that keep their chapters low.
