The early morning encounter with Hunter was totally unexpected but somewhere in the corner of my heart I felt relived after I saw him. He is back home. Rochelle kept me a good company throughout the day but when she told me about Hunter having a fiance and they're about to get married in the next week, I feel myself again sinking in the depth of darkness from where I can't see the light at the end.

In less than forty eight hours, Hunter slipped through the barriers I built around me when Benjamin betrayed me. I always trusted people easily, not able to see through their deceptive faces but his betrayal taught me a lesson that I should not trust someone so blindly because when they break it, they break your heart and kill your soul.

But I can't pull myself to distrust Hunter. He gave me no reason to doubt his intentions. He's the one who brought my father and Benjamin's truth in light.

I trust him but I don't trust myself. It's impossible to stay sane whenever he's around
