~ Chapter 44 ~

With a smile on my face, I exited the room with an angry Scott in the bathroom. He's still brooding about me locking him out of the bathroom so I could shower alone. And then he resulted to saying he's going to send his mom home to Baltimore. He's so rude.

I could hear plates clanking in the kitchen and the coffee machine going on and off. On reaching the bottom of the stairs, Grace was in a purple tracksuit and I must say, it is a change from the two times I've seen her.

The garden party and last night. She looked someone straight out of a vogue magazine even in simple wear.

She dipped her hand into a bowl of berries and turned to me standing in the doorway. A smile stretch on her face.

"Good morning" I smiled going toward her. I'm not sure the kind of conversation to have with Scott's mom so I just sat down quiet hoping for Scott to come down soon. But knowing Scott, he might choose to seat this one out and brood throughout the day.

"I'm sure you rested well. Where's Scott?"
