I couldn't control my hunger. I held my throat to stop myself, but the urge to feed kept rising. If this continued, I wouldn't be able to save my family.

Azazel laughed, "What a sight to behold! You have a unique personality, Miss Dark. I'd love to use that to my advantage." He said and I felt the air pressing on my body.

But the pressure quickly decreased and I looked at my side to find Mom creating a barrier. She had a fierce look on her face as she spoke, "Stay away from my family."

But it didn't seem to waver Azazel's confidence as his smile stayed intact. "Aw, that's rude, Mrs. Dark." His red eyes glowed and long black whip-like structures emerged out of his palms, lashing at the barrier.

Mom's face hardened as she focused her strength into keeping that barrier intact, but it seemed that the whiplashes were breaking the walls.

"Run away. Both of you. I'll handle him!" She said but I didn't move. I couldn't leave dad and mom alone here. Above that, my head was spin
