Sixty-ninth Run

Everyone woke up. Everyone held and grabbed their own weapon as they gathered in front of the base. Even though the base's gate was close, there's a lot of people with abilities on top of the wall.

Liam knew that if the people on top of the wall did not make it, they were surely going to die.

Without hesitation, Liam heeded the call, his footsteps echoing resolutely against the cold concrete floor as he made his way towards the designated gathering point. Along the way, he passed fellow survivors, each armed and prepared to defend their home against the encroaching threat.

As he joined the ranks of his comrades, Liam felt a surge of adrenaline course through his veins, driving away any lingering doubts or fears. In that moment, he was not just a survivor; he was a warrior, ready to stand shoulder to shoulder with his fellow defenders and face whatever horrors awaited them outside.

If everything goes downhill, then he'll protect himself like Brandon told him before.
