Thirty eight: ALL
Since mom had advised me to get back with Roy, I had called him about three times when I had arrived back at my dorm this morning. To my surprise, he hadn't answered my calls. At first, I had thought he probably hadn't been with his phone, but this was three o'clock in the afternoon already. Wouldn't he have seen my missed calls?
What was wrong with him? Had he decided to leave me completely? Was he truly going to move on? Had Kathleen poisoned his mind against me? Had he fallen for her in only a week plus? Shit, this was going to make my hormones stop working. I was running crazy.
Frustrated, I smacked a pillow against my face, screamed in it. What the heck could possibly be going on with him? How was I going to get answers to these questions?
"What's up now?" Bella's voice startled me. When did she walk into the room? Was I that intense in thinking about Roy that I didn't even notice her coming in?

Something hit my eyes. Whatever that was, was hot, disturbing and crazy. It pulled me from my sleep, which was so annoying. I had to sleep. I hadn't slept so well in a long time.A knot kept my hands and legs captive. I tried to move on this bed, but it seemed impossible to. And, what in the world was this bed made of? I watched as Virg packed her stuff, tears in my eyes. Her mom was here to take her home. And, I didn't know when next I would see her. She said she wasn't sure she would survive the cancer, and thinking about that, I was even more fearful. I just couldn't think of losing her."When will the dorms be shut?"
