Raina pov

As the black wolf bared its teeth at me, the confidence in me drained.

The way it stared at me sent shivers down my spine. It was as if it knew me before and had harbored ill intentions for me.

With each step I took back, the black wolf doubled it.

It bared its teeth with saliva dripping down and posed in an assaulting manner. As it took some steps forward to attack me, the familiar scents of Lucien filled my nose again.

And, when I had my eyes shut, some disturbing noise resounded in my ears, and slowly my eyes pried open to see a large brown wolf attacking the black wolf.

“Mate!” my wolf snapped.

After a moment of fighting, the brown wolf and the blonde wolf transformed into humans.

My mouth was agape as I stared at Jac and Lucien.

They were naked.

Lucien had fresh scars across his face and three deep lines across his chest.
