Getting close to Hailey was something I didn't have the power to control. She made me feel like I could trust her, like my deepest secrets would be safe with her.

I didn't expect a companion when I signed the marriage contract, I had solely expected an ally but I guess we take what life gives us. It was a plus to me after all.

I opened up about Alanna to her and I felt free. It felt good to finally be able to share some aspect of my life with someone. Alanna was a special part of my life and I wanted everyone to know how much she meant to me.

Surprisingly, Hailey asked me if she could work in my company which I willingly agreed to. I didn't see a reason not to allow her work. I personally preferred an industrious person.
