It has been more than a month since she filed a leave of absence from the campus because of her mother's death. It was a bit complicated to explain how she had been feeling to her birth mother. She wants her mother to stay alive, and to take responsibility for her actions that have made her haunted by guilt and nightmares for killing Theo's birth mother—Irene Pedrosa—in front of her and Theo. She wanted her mother to pay for her sin and the fact that her mother died not at her hands, but at the hands of Theodore's subordinates who had defected to Schneider's side shook her. Especially when she saw for herself how his mother's body was destroyed, not leaving the slightest bit of beauty that her mother had been proud of when she was still alive. It was terrifying. She was unable to look at her mother any longer and asked the people who took care of her mother's body to cover the white cloth that covered her late mother's body again.
