A good man

Wyatt leaving in such a rush earlier had me feeling a bit uneasy. He’s been in his meeting for a few hours now. It’s incredibly frustrating that I can no longer link him, and with each attempt; realization smacks me in my face.

Helena and I made homemade pizza for dinner tonight. She made Wyatt one in the shape of a heart and was disappointed that he didn’t come home before she went to bed.

I decided to sit on the couch and read a book while I waited for him to come home. After a few chapters, I glanced at the clock. It was 1 am. Putting a bookmark in my book, I linked Kai to check if everything was okay, but his block was up. He was probably sleeping.

Sighing, I grabbed a blanket and walked out onto the porch to sit and wait in the rocking chair.
