Chapter 18

I woke up feeling much better than I had earlier, so I went downstairs to look for something to eat.

I opened the fridge and grabbed some chips and orange juice, then decided to watch a movie. I was still trying to decide which movie to watch when Sebastian came in.

"Hey Sebastian, how was work today?" I asked.

"It was good, thanks," he replied.

He came over and lay down on my lap, and we started eating the chips together. I used the opportunity to massage his head and relieve the stress from his face.

Suddenly, I remembered that I had something to tell him.

"Sebastian, I wanted to talk to you about something," I said.

He got up and faced me. "What is it?" he asked.

"What are you going to do about Evelyn?" I asked.

I still believed that there was more to what she did, and that someone was working with her.

"I'm probably going to banish her from the pack," Sebastian said.

"Why not question her more about the incident?" I suggested.

"Do you still think someone is behind her actions?"
