I arrived at the pack to meet the entire place thrown into utter chaos. The defense system had been obliterated and most of the houses had gone up in flames. My eyes took in my surroundings and that was when the damage of what had happened hit me.

"How on earth did something like this happen?" I asked no one in particular. My mind was scattered all over the place and I couldn't bring myself to accept what I just saw.

Most of the guards were lying injured in different parts while the rest had already wound up dead with their bodies lying in different fetal positions.

"Alpha?" Someone called out to me, and I was met with the hurtful eyes of an older woman who had just walked up to me.
