Amanda ignored Drake's remark; she hated that She had needed his help and wished she had taken down the rogue before he arrived. With Drake, she felt she had to always prove that she was capable and not a damsel in distress.

“What will be done to him.” she pointed at the almost lifeless rogue; still in its wolf form, its furs had a lot of scars around them.

“The guards would take care of that.” Alpha Drake said and started walking away.

Amanda gave the rogue wolf a hard kick against its belle, causing it to growl in pain.

As they moved some distance in silence, Amanda spoke as some thought crept into her mind. "How did you know I was here? How did you know I was under attack?"

Drake did not stop walking, but, his mind drifted back to the moment of urgency that had compelled him to come to Amanda's aid. He took a deep breath; his voice tinged with a hint of wonder. "It was...unexpected," he began, his tone indifferent. "I had a vision."
