“W-what?” I stammered with the phone pressed to my ear, my eyes wide, my hand shaking. The words were repeated, but I couldn't hear them because of a loud ringing in my head, like bells going off, which drowned them out.
Natasha was back. Natasha James was back.
I shouldn’t be this worried. I shouldn’t be shaking. I should be brushing the situation off with a laugh, saying I was the one married to him, not she. That she was his past, and it was his present, his future, but this was Natasha James, Richard’s first love, and if I dare say, his only love.
Richard swore he had gotten over her, that if he hadn't, he wouldn’t have married me, but we both knew that was a lie. The only reason I was answering his name was that it was his duty to marry me. He married because of duty, while I married for love, and for the past three years, I've felt that.
And coupled with the fact that I couldn’t give him a child…
I ended the call and slowly moved to the nearest chair, dropping down onto it.
“It’s okay,” I muttered to myself. “It’s okay. You’re okay.”

Nothing was okay.
Richard stopped coming home. He stopped picking up my calls, and when I asked, he would say he was at work. Just that single word, with no other explanation.
It hurts. God, it hurts so bad. But I chose to overlook it, telling myself that he was my husband and that he would come back to me.
But Richard crossed the line.
I was sitting in the garden when I heard his car roll in. I was immediately on my feet, a wild smile on my face, moving to the entrance as my heart raced.
Finally! It has been a long while since I saw him.
I picked up my pace, almost running, but my step slowed down when I heard laughter, my smile dropping. One voice stood out to me: a female’s.
I picked up the pace again, and I finally reached the entrance, but what I saw made my heart drop.
There he was, Richard, in his suit, his hair styled perfectly, and on his arms was Natasha. Her hand was hooked on his, and their bodies were pressed tight. So tight, there was barely any space between them.
“Oh, Richard,” Natasha chuckled, placing her hand on my husband’s chest, and I watched as that husband did nothing.
I watched her, Natasha James, the perfect girl, blonde hair that glowed in the sun, blue eyes that caught the light, long legs, and a body that men would kill for.
I stood there, unmoving, my mouth opening, but no words came out.
They finally noticed me.
Richard was the first to do so, and when he did, he pulled away from Natasha as if her touch burned him, staring at me.
“Isabella,” he called, his eyes wide. “Uhm… hey.”
“Hey?” I repeated in a whisper, my chest tight to the point of pain. “Richard, ‘hey’ is all you have to say to me?”
He opened his mouth, but before he could speak a word, Natasha jumped in front of him, blocking my view of him.
“Isabella!” she gushed, like she was seeing a long-lost friend, smiling so wide it looked like her lips were going to tear, but that smile was nowhere near her eyes. “Oh my God, look at you! You look so well! Richard must be taking good care of you!”
I stared at her, opening my mouth. “I–”
“So I hope you don’t mind,” she cut me off before the word was even out of my mouth, stepping back and grabbing Richard’s arm. “I asked him to invite me to dinner. It’s just been so long we caught up, right?”
“I should have told you first,” Richard said, still letting her hold his arm. “But she’s already here, so let’s enjoy dinner together. Is that fine?”
“Richard, how–”
“Of course, she’s fine!” Natasha spoke, once again, cutting me off. “This is sweet Isabella. Come on, Richard. Let’s have that steak you’ve been telling me about. I’m literally salivating right now!”
And so she tugged him towards the house, and Richard followed without a single glance back, holding her hand that was still on his arm. I turned away quickly when I saw him wrap his arm around her waist.
I didn’t go to dinner.

After that day, I didn’t see Richard for a whole week, so I decided to pay him a visit. I made lunch and packed it, excited that I was going to see him again, even though a part of me was still upset about what he did.
I dressed up and applied a bit of makeup so it wouldn’t seem like I was trying too hard or make me look bland.
During the ride to his office, my hands were glued together, fidgeting, and when I finally got there, I didn't step out of my car. I stayed still, working on my breath. Then finally, I stepped out. And as soon as I did, I noticed the eyes on me, the uncomfortable glances, the nervous ones, but I didn't pay them any mind and went straight to his office. When I got to his front desk, his assistant there immediately jumped to her feet, a tight smile on her face.
“Mrs. Ashford,” she greeted, her smile growing tighter.
“Hello, Sandra. I’m here to see my husband.”
She nodded quickly, swallowing. “Uhm… yes. Of course. Mr. Ashford is occupied at the moment, ma’am, so I’ll ask that you wait.”
That made my back straighten, and my eyes narrowed. “Sandra, I’m here to see my husband,” I repeated slowly.
“He’s in a meeting, ma’am,” she answered quickly, too quickly.
“Then, I’ll wait in his office.”
“You can’t!” she yelled, but I was already moving towards his office. “Ma’am, please!”
My heart was racing as I marched to his office, and when I threw his doors open, my worst fear became reality.
Richard was in his office, and his assistant lied, but that wasn’t what made my heart drop, and my eyes sting.
No. It was Natasha.
She was in his office, and not just anywhere, but on his lap, her shirt buttons undone.
“You think you’re in the position to negotiate?” Leonardo asked, stepping forward with his teeth bared.“I know I am,” I answered calmly, keeping my back straight. I won’t let this man intimidate me. “You need my father. You’re desperate to find him. I'm not involved in whatever bullshit he is in this time, so I can just turn my back. But both of you need me. So yes, I think I'll negotiate.”“Alright then,” Alexander said, and his father’s head snapped to him. “We’ll hear it.”Shocking. I thought Alexander was the brute and his father was the calm and reasonable one, since Alexander was hot-tempered and all that. Seeing this business side of him makes me see him in a new light. I cleared my throat as I started. “Helping you guys has put me in William's bad book. He’s threatening to withdraw his support from my company. If he does that, I have nothing.”“So you want us to invest in your company,” Alexander said, and I nodded. “Not just that, but I want us to be partners.”Alexander s
RICHARD When I got back to my room, I buried myself in my work, trying to forget what happened in that room with Isabella and how she had turned me away. “All for that bastard,” I muttered as I crumbled a file in my hand, my jaw clenched. What was it about him, anyway? He was handsome, sure. Filthy rich, but I knew Isabella, and those things didn't sway her. So what was it about this bastard? He was going to be a problem, I know. With him in the way, getting redeemed was going to be hell, but I wasn't going to let him be a blockage in my path. I was still going to win Isabella over, with or without him being an obstacle. I reached for the final file, but then paused when my phone rang. I groaned when I saw the caller, but I had to pick up the phone to tell her the decisions I had already made.“Hel–”“Richard, where the fuck have you been?!” she screamed as soon as I picked up the call, and I had to hold the phone away from my ear so my eardrum wouldn't explode. “I–”“What kind of
ALEXANDERInstead of going home, I went to the rooftop bar of the hotel. I didn't order a drink and just sat overlooking the city, watching the sky grow dark, and the setting sun turn everything gold. It didn't help. My head was still as loud as it could be. And my heart wouldn't stop racing.I felt him before he came to sit beside me. I ignored him and just kept staring at the city below.“So–” he started, but I didn't give him a chance.“No,” I said harshly, turning to him with a glare, shooting to my feet. “No, I am not in the mood for your bullshit. Or your jokes, or insults. I am not in the mood for any of that.”He stared at me with a surprisingly serious look on his face before he nodded. “Okay,” he whispered, his hands raised. “Okay, Alexander.”I sat down slowly, my shoulders dropping. I looked forward, placing my elbows on the counter and resting my chin on my folded hands. “I just have a question.”I said nothing to that and nodded after a while. “Is it really love?”I s
ISABELLALater, I will ask myself what the fuck I was thinking. I know I always do. I will ask myself why I let Alexander spread my legs in front of his father. I will ask myself why I said those words that made me look like I was desperate for Leonardo’s touch. And later, I will ask myself if I was really desperate for his touch. But for now… for now, it's a middle finger to Leonardo and all those thoughts. Now, I wanted to feel nothing but pleasure, and that’s what I was feeling as Alexander forced four fingers into me and my walls stretched wide to accommodate it. The stretch, the burn, the way my walls clenched and unclenched when they were asking for more, it was a familiar, heavenly feeling that I've missed so much. My eyes rolled all the way to the back of my head, and I threw my head back. It landed on Alexander’s shoulders, and he let me keep it there. He turned his head towards mine, his breath warm on my cheek. I felt his eyes burning into my face, and I slowly opened mi
LEONARDO“Then explain, father, why you’re hard.”I looked down at my dick like this was news–which it was–and scowled at it as it disgusted me. I adjusted my pants and looked back at Alexander, clearing my throat. “That is just a physical reaction. It’s normal.”“Oh?” He raised an eyebrow, a stupid smirk on his face. “So you can't control your erections?”I rolled my eyes. “Be a bastard all you want, but we both know the dick has a mind of its own.”He scoffed, which made me even more irritated. “Sure.”Just then, Isabella moaned, drawing my attention back to her. Her back was facing me, and I couldn't see her face, but her moans and her fingers in her cunt let me know she was a damn mess. How did she manage to hide this side of herself so well? This slutty, dirty side. If I hadn't seen this side of her and knew how she was, it would be hard to compare this Isabella to the one the world knew. She might be a human, but I was still a man, and it was only natural that I had an erection
I kept my eyes fixed on Alexander’s as I leaned in and wrapped my mouth around his crown. His eyelashes fluttered, but he still wanted to maintain his big boy look, so he kept his jaw clenched and his eyes hard. Alright then.I slurped on his crown, sucking on it like a lollipop, just the way he taught me, and a low groan slipped out of him. I played with his crown, with his slit, dipping my tongue inside, and his body jerked, another groan slipping out of him. I reached for his balls and squeezed them as I started taking him in, swallowing his length, inch by inch. “Fuck,” he breathed as I played with his balls while sucking him. “Fuck, yes.”He finally broke. I felt so proud of myself and my little victories. “Isabella,” he breathed as he moved his hips, thrusting shallowly. “Bella… fuck, I'm not going to last.”I worked my tongue on him, licking the underside of his cock, and his body jerked. His hold tightened on my hair as I bobbed my head, swallowing around him and hallowing
