CHAPTER 20: JUST WALK AWAY

“You are a wolf, for God’s sake. You can handle a teeny tiny jump without even batting an eyelid,” Jenny declared, hands on her hips. She was now wearing a short red dress that clung to her frame. With high heels adding to her height, she was no longer looking like a schoolgirl. Her pretty blue eyes were dramatically lined with black eyeliner, making them look huge. But right now, those eyes were narrowed at Olivia, frustration evident in them.

“We are talking about jumping from the third floor of a building here, not a teeny tiny jump, as you call it. If I land wrong, I will break my neck and there is no healing from it, wolf or not,” Olivia pointed out.
