Chapter 15 A Run

Claudius's POV

"Are you sure you're strong enough?"

"Yes, I desperately need to stretch my legs."

"Okay, hang on," I said to Niko as I stood behind a tree just a little ways inside the tree line. I quickly pulled my clothes off and tucked them close to the tree before feeling Niko take over as he came forward.

I hissed as the shift went a little slower than normal.

"I'm sorry! I didn't realize my weakness would slow down my shift." Niko said. I could feel how guilty he felt, and I hated it.

"Don't apologize! You have nothing to be sorry for! I can take a little pain. I'm fine!"

"I know, I just, I didn't realize it would take that long to shift. I wouldn't have asked if I would have kn-"

"No! I don't care how long it takes, if you ever want to shift, please don't be afraid to ask. I promise I can take it. I can endure a little pain, so you can run free, and be a wolf... Now come on. Run free and feel the wind against your fur." I said, smiling at my wolf who I love with all m

He does not deserve him he has not even explained why he can not be with him. I really hope Claudius finds love he and Niko deserve it but at this point how would he ever ever be able to trust what Hughes says

Alpha Hughes is no better than the Alpha’s that abuse omegas, submissive deltas. Abuse is abuse in any form, he is hurting his own mate and seems to be oblivious. Not happy with this Alpha.

I thought Alphas were smart …. Hughes must have hit his head not to see what is in front of him. Not to recognize how much Claudius has changed and how weak he is since he stayed
