Thane's POV

I headed out a few minutes after Seth left. I didn't do anything in particular. Rose had called my phone several times, and I took that time to speak with her.

“Why haven't you picked your calls for how long?” Rose asked.

I had barely spoken a word when she added several allegations to the lIst of the ‘evil’ things I had done to her.

“You cancelled the other night without a word, and you didn't even care to explain why.” She growled.

“I called to apologize, but you wouldn't even listen to me.” I sighed.

“So, what do you want now?” She asked, and I could see the usual eye roll she'd do after asking that question. “You want me to come over, risk my entire life for you, and then toss me aside like a piece of scum?”

“I love you, Rose.” I said. That seemed to calm her down everytime. “You know I do, and there's no way I'd ignore you if there's no tangible reason.”

She went silent, and I knew that it was working.

“Alpha Harry had been on my ass, and I've also been having troubles with my new roommate.” I sighed.

“Erm… oh… okay.” She said, and I smiled.

“So, will you please come over tonight?” I asked.

“Will your roommate be in tonight?”

“I'll get rid of him one way or another.” I assured her.

“Okay baby. I'll be at our usual spot when it's time.” She said.

“I'll be there.” I assured her, and she ended the call.

Do I love her? I'm not sure about that. But do I enjoy her company, and do I really like her? Hell yeah! For a long time, she was the only human I could tolerate, even till now.

I was left all alone in the room after Seth left. I made sure the room was perfect for Rose's arrival. I hurried down to the South wing immediately she called me to come pick her up.

“Hey baby.” She whispered immediately I saw her. We hugged. I kissed her neck softly, and she giggled.

“Hey mama.” I whispered, looking at her face.

“You missed me that much?” She asked, biting her lower lips.

“I've not been able to think about anything that isn't you.” I said, and we kissed.

I handed my hoodie over to her, and she wore it. Lincoln and the other boys had caused a distraction as usual, so I'd be able to sneak her in without any problems.

When we got to my room, I locked the door, and heaved a sigh of relief. I could already hear the loud beats played by Lincoln in the yard. We'd always have rap battles when any of us were about to have a lady over.

“How are you having it with your roommate?” Rose asked, and I shrugged.

I wasn't sure how to tell her that I was constantly thinking about my roommate, and although I don't do boys, he just intrigues me.

“He's not so bad.” I shrugged. “Sometimes, he's very understanding, like tonight,”

“And the other times?” Rose asked, walking slowly towards me.

“The other times, I just want to drown him in water.” I said, grabbing her waist as we kissed.
