Scarlett's POV

I finally composed myself, and I made my way to the theatre. I saw Zion immediately I walked in, and luckily, the seat beside him was free. I wriggled my way through till I finally sat beside him.

“What… how…?” Zion asked, shaking his head. He folded his arms, and his eyes widened like he had just seen a ghost.

“I almost died tonight, and so many things happened, but can we forget that right now?” I asked, and he nodded slowly, looking at me with surprise.

“Just one question, though.” Zion asked, and I looked at him. “Is our royal beast alright?”

I sighed, shaking my head, “I'm not sure.”

We watched the movie in silence. It was unexpectedly funny. The arts department then had the stage to themselves, but all through that time, I was more focused on the king.

Then, out of nowhere, people started leaving one by one.

“What's going on?” I asked Zion.

“It's a full moon.” He shrugged. “They're either going for a run or hanging out with their girls.”

“The Academy is literally chill with that.” Zion shrugged. “They understand how horny, angry, and on edge everyone gets on a full moon.”

“Okay then.” I shrugged, looking away.

The whole thing was over, and the King had left. We all left almost immediately. I walked slowly back to my room, and I only luckily avoided Alpha Harry. He'd probably try to link up and fuck me despite my reluctance.

I walked into the room, had my bath, and I was trying to do my skincare when Thane walked in. He looked visibly tired, and I could tell why.

“Hi.” He whispered, and I was almost choked by embarrassment.

“Hi.” I whispered back.

He undressed and went into the bathroom. I had several ideas. I thought of walking into the bathroom naked also. Or maybe just waiting naked for him when he's done.

I tried to expel the thoughts, but I couldn't. Maybe the full moon was getting to me too much. I had just survived whatever that was, and here I am, thinking about doing something I had never done.

This whole day has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I stood up to lock the door since I was just in my tubes , and anyone that walked in would know my secret.

Immediately I locked the door, Thane walked out of the bathroom. There was so much water running over his body, trickling down his abs. His hair laid lazily around his face, and I was immediately thirsty.

“Is Rose coming tonight?” I asked out of the blue, and he turned to face me. “And are you guys in love? Or dating?”

Thane took a minute to himself, looking at me, before answering me.

“The answer to all the questions you've asked are no.” Thane said, and I nodded.

“Let's be casual?” I asked, feeling a certain heat rise up in my body.

“I can definitely do that.” Thane whispered, and we both charged at each other.

I held his face as we kissed. His left hand was on my waist, and eventually moved to my butt. He fondled it a bit, adding a little force on it.

“This feels so good…” I muttered, as he kissed my neck. My pants were soaked already. I grabbed his hair, and I gently jumped on him.

There was a knock on the door.
