Chapter 12: Order I

Elder Sand, Marie and Eva travelled leisurely down the street. They didn’t seem to be in any particular hurry. They looked relaxed, like they were on their way to a special dinner, and they sounded relaxed. Well, one of them sounded relaxed, for Elder Sand whistled the entire way. His tone was jovial and upbeat. As for the young man they had left wounded, that didn’t seem to affect his mood in any way.

”This is it,” Elder Sand stopped right in front of a large building as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out an old looking compass and tilted it slightly. The needle of the compass moved along with the Elder’s movement. However, the direction it pointed to was the same one it was pointing to from the beginning.
