Twenty-five

Natie yawned and rolled away from the edge of the bed. She threw her hand and leg carelessly to the other side of the bed and furrowed her brows when she felt her leg and arm land on something soft.

"You are the worst haphazard sleeper I know," she heard Anelia grumble beside her.

Natie giggled and groggily opened her eyes. She didn't remove her leg and arm atop her sister but shifted closer as if to only get more comfortable. It was no lie that Natie was a very unstable sleeper. She could go to sleep with her head on the pillow and wake up with her head almost hanging off the edge of the bed and her feet laying on the pillow instead.

"You're the one in my bed," she cheekily replied before closing her eyes again. Not that she was complaining. To Natie her sister was like a big warm blanket and she felt strangely comforted and safe when she was around.

"You're the one that's in my bed," Anelia countered with a dazed voice. Natie opened her eyes again and looked around the room.
