“Hello, sir, have you seen my mommy?” a soft girlish voice interrupted Travis as he was talking on the phone.

He turned around and saw a little girl hugging a pink teddy bear, and her eyes were staring at her innocently. He was shocked when he saw that she resembled his wife, Elaine, whom he had not seen for five years. He stared at her, longing to look at that face, but at the same time, he wondered why the little girl resembled Elaine, when she had never given birth, and also, he had never heard her say that she was pregnant before leaving.

The little girl was also stunned as the man looked like her brother so much. Especially her eldest brother, who seemed to have inherited everything from this man. Even the aura around him was the same as her brother’s. She frowned as she wondered whether the man was their father, whom she had never met, but then shook her head as she recalled her mother saying that their father was so ugly and that was one of the reasons she had left him.
