Chapter 22
Amanda had her knees up to her chest, her head tucked in between as she rocked herself on the chair, Rebecca and Elena were beside her. While Alex was still unconscious, the guys had sustained minor injuries during the fight and Jerry had gotten shot in his right leg.
"Are you ok?" Elena asked concerned. Amanda hasn't said a word since the nurses has shut the door before her.
"Mmmmh," she replied not looking up. Elena looked at Rebecca who was also watching her.
"What should I do?" Elena mouthed to her. Rebecca looked confused too, then moved closer to Amanda and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Alex will be fine," she said. The three sat there quietly, waiting.
