She did not let the detective finish, she interrupted
"What? What are they talking about? I didn't do anything" she defended. I noticed she was trembling inside. I stood aside to observe the scene.
"I'm sorry ma'am. We have the footage of the day Mister Walter was stabbed. You were found around the premises. May I know what was your business there?" the male detective asked bolding.
"Well.. Well it's a social gathering, isn't it? Do I have to explain why I was in a recreational center at a particular time or date having fun?" she arrogantly said.
"Yes, I called her after I sent for an ambulance. She must have arrived late" I defended.
"Stay out of this Emily.. " Selena whispered with jammed teeth.

I got home from church. The thick, burnt smell of fried chicken tickled the tip of my nose just seconds after my tummy rumbled. I pressed my hand on my stomach to calm the boys fighting inside. "Miss, come with us" a police officer tapped me on my shoulder.I got up from the chair with zero courage. As I walked to the interrogation room with two police officers escorting me, I bumped into Amanda and we made eye contact. I saw hatred written in her eyes. Nevertheless, I ignored and entered the interrogation room seated with two detectives, a mid-aged female and a gentleman in his late 50's.It was a small room with only three chairs, two for the detectives and I guess the other is for me.
