“I do.” I told her, knowing there was no sense in denying it.

“You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that. Pretending with you was more of a hassle than I wanted. I could have ended you the first time I saw you, but I thought it would be more interesting to mess with you. Now that you know who I am though, I can’t just walk away. I was hoping to have more time to torment you though.” She sighed as if she were upset about something, yet the look on her face was far from being upset.

There was a gleam in her eyes that virtually sparkled with something I couldn’t quite put my finger on. If I could remember the way she ended my life in the past, I would imagine she had found pleasure in it. That was the closest way I could describe the look on her face.

“You won’t lay a finger on her.” Eric snarled, taking a more protective stance in front of me.

“And what are you going to do about it, my dearest Trevor?” Cordelia spoke.

Okay technically it was Mavis, but it was hard to dist
