“Good morning” I heard a man say gently.
I opened my eyes to see Kiara and the man who got me here to the hospital sitting on the couch beside me. I frowned in confusion at the fact that Vladimir wasn’t here, but my mind went back to the fact that Kiara had told me that Maria passed away.
“This is my husband, Eliana, Nikolay”
“Pleasure” I asked rubbing the sleep from my eyes before sitting up on the hospital bed.
“It’s mine” he said gently “how are you feeling?”
“I’m fine, I haven’t thanked you for bringing me here to begin with” I said shyly. Nikolay simply nodded and gave me a gentle smile. Kiara laid her head on her husband’s shoulder and I couldn’t help but smile when he kissed her temple “how are they?”
